Let's discuss the stupidity of dating a chick you work with

Not something I'd normally do but I'd consider it if:

The female was very private about her business.
She was someone I would consider being very serious with.
She has a bright, realistic future she is actively working towards.
BOTH of you plan on switching jobs, so that you don't work together for too long (~<18 months).

I work with someone who has 3 of the 4...but i just dont see her being able to keep the shyt private. That's always the biggest issue.

Not gonna lie, this life aint for everybody. shyt gets lonely sometimes. A few times I thought about settling with a chick I wasn't really into but I'm glad I didn't. I'm a finicky dude, I'll scroll through some facebook pics later and be like "Glad I didn't commit to that."

sad to say but women want what other women want. Knowing that you as a man can get another girl or are talking to other girls shows that you are wanted, that your attractive that she has to fight to keep you and keeping you is a accomplishment.

It's why in all my years I've rarely heard of a woman divorcing, breaking up with a man on the first time he cheated, talked to another girl, sent a dirty picture etc., she may get angry but he always gets another chance. Yes women will say i dumped my ex he cheated, but you dig deeper that wasn't the first time he cheated.

sad to say its why you sometimes have to keep your friends that are females in the picture or still casually flirt, a large segment of women don't want you to feel that they are the best you can do.

this girl i know she's cute and wanna hit .. and i kinda have a little bit oneitis. so last night i messaged her if she went to this concert on saturday night. she said no and i asked why ..she said cause i didn't invite her..i was like so i told her i didn't go either .. i said even if i had invited her, she probably wouldn't show and i would have been upset .. she's like .. ya right..

we talked for a bit and i was tipsy so i told her i haven't seen her in a while and i miss her .. she was like really.. i said yea of course .. she thought i was fukking around with her.. and wouldn't believe me ... even asked me if ive been drinking.. i obviously said no... the convo then dried up and we stopped talking..

i don't know why she thought i was fukking around with her.. i've never talked to her like that before .. but the fact that i was tipsy and wanted to just go for it without giving any fukks kinda gave me some confidence.. i think she's interested otherwise would have shut me down .. i want her to know i was serious.

so i was thinking of messaging her in a few days telling her sorry if i came on too forward and i want to get to know her better and invite her out...would this work or nah?

i feel ya breh you just really have to be careful with how much you let them effect your emotions from day to day,
chick i wanted to cuff down something serious just went cold with her efforts and i found myself being the one having to initiate contact every time so last monday i said fukk it and its been a week and not a peep outta her

I GET blind drunk every time my partner goes on a business trip – because I know for sure that she is going to share a bed with another man.


Once a month she flies to Amsterdam where her firm’s head office is based.

She goes straight to a hotel where her boss is waiting for her with a bottle of champagne.

They drink, chat and then go to bed. How do I know all of this?

Because she is scrupulously honest with me. She tells me everything but the truth is ripping me apart.

The fact is, though, she’s the breadwinner earning a fortune.

Without her money we wouldn’t have this amazing apartment or our expensive lifestyle.

But everything comes at a price, doesn’t it? And the price she pays is sex with her boss in return for continued employment.

If she doesn’t “play the game” then she won’t be considered a team player.

She begs me not to think too deeply or take it too seriously – but what am I supposed to feel when I know my girl is getting rogered rotten by a smarmy creep?

She’s urging me to consider ours an open relationship.

Apparently I’m more than welcome to get off with other women while she’s out of the country. But I don’t want that.

The older I get the harder I’m finding it to blot out the truth.

Increasingly I’m turning to large amounts of booze to get me through her absences. Last month I drank five litres of vodka in four days.

Now she’s due to go away again and I don’t know how I will get through this next trip.
