Strength week for me
On monday with my lower body session I did
5 x 5 for kettle bell swings with 30lbs, 35,lbs, 40 lbs, 45 lbs. But I couldn't do 50lbs, at all without good form. So I stopped their.
Then did my 6 x 4 full range squats with 175 185 195 205 & 215. I decided to get a spotter for 225 to play it safe but he started bringing me up before I even reached parallel :/ I'm more bummed about it since I prob could of done it without a spotter.
For step ups I did 5 x 5 with 30 lbs, 40 lbs, 50 lbs, 60 lbs, and 70 lbs.
Then for regular deads I did 6 x 3 with a mixed grip for 185, 195, 205, 215, 225, 235. Honestly could of gone higher but I just wanted to see where I am. I def will try to start at either 205 or 215 next time.
Then yesterday with my upper body session
I did incline bench with 6 x 4 with 115, 125, 135, 145, 155, 165 Could of done more but just sticked with that.
Also tried weighted chin ups did bw, 5 lbs, 10 lbs, 15 lbs for 6 x 4. Also did 17.5 for 3 reps & 20 lbs for 2 reps. Felt pretty awesome honestly.
Then for seated barbell overhead press did it 6 x 4 with 75 lbs, 85, lbs, 95 lbs, 105 lbs 110 lbs & 115 lbs.
Then double overhand 90 degree barbell rows did it also 6 x 4 with 85 lbs, 95 lbs, 105 lbs, 115 lbs. Then 120 for 2 quality reps and really could reach my lower chest properly when doing it with 125.
Then for weighted dips I did 6 x 4 I used 5lbs, 10 lbs, 15 lbs, 20 lbs, 25lbs, 30 lbs. Honestly Friday I'm gonna start at 20 lbs since I felt I could of done a lot more.
