I set the gym PR for dead-lift and gunning for the squat record here...nikkas really be going hard and getting agressional when I hit the rack. Breh do your 4 plates or whatever I'm sticking to my program. If you any type of swole, and you do any type of "light" weight you get funny look or some nikka trying to one-up you. 
And I only use a belt when I go 90%+ of my 1RM for deadlift. Squats I use to wear it for 70%, but I have stopped using it and only use it if i go over 4 plates to help cue ab tightness.
I use to not fukk with direct ab work b/c I thought heavy compounds were enough...they have helped with me not having any back pain. I do it at the end of my deadlift session with some reverse hypertensions. Literally have done 2 or 3 DL sessions a week and feel great.
If I feel like squatting back to back days or benching...fukk it I'll do it.
