After this gym session I wrapped up I’ve come to the realization that I honestly don’t need to lift super heavy any more.

225 for bench
325 for deadlift
275 for squats
185 for bent over rows

As far as I get enough reps I feel just fine. My body has a good muscular build to begin with.

I’ve started PT for my knee and I’m targeting a return a spring 2020 return for my “D1” rec soccer league. I just want to lean out but keep core strength.

shyt some people think anything will lead to injuries...What made you decide 225 for bench rather than 185 or 135? what made you decide that those weights don't need to continue to grow over time?

225 for bench has just been a personal benchmark for myself. Kinda like a goldilocks thing. Just right. I'm gunning on leaning out while preserving muscle for the upcoming soccer season. Lemme see where things stand in a few months.

Still trying to figure that part out.

Pretty jarring waiting for the time to pass to start the next set. Overall, I did a few more heavier than normal sets but I was having a pain my right kneecap so I didn’t try for anything over 80% of my max

No gloves is savagery. I can imagine how callused my hands would be without them.

Y’all nikkas can keep that. I’m pretty sure no man appreciates a woman with lifters hands, especially if I’m supposed to stroke your dikk with them :russ:

no gloves is the way...gotta make sure you feel that weight :birdman:

my callouses both on my knuckles and palms are a badge of honor :birdman:
