It’s like how a water hose won’t put out a forest fire
no its not...
...there is a reason children 10 and under arent affected by it...
...and why smokers, fat people, the sick are the ones that have issues.

They have compromised immune systems.

If youre in good shape, youre fine.

Its estimated that between 70% to 80% of the population is going to get this....
...its just a more potent flu.

I havent had a flu shot since I was a kid...
...and I havent had the flu since I was probably like 11.

I dont smoke, rarely drink, and I exercise every week.

I see a lot of people wearing medical gloves at the gym right now

there is a homeless dude who works out there as well...that’s pissing me off. I might have to drop 24 hour and upgrade to equinox, some shyt they can’t afford :francis:

I’m deathly afraid of going to my boxing gym since if you don’t have boxing shoes, you’re barefoot or in socks. I’m definitely not fukking with their conditioning class that has you tracking through other people's sweat

and whatever cough I got back in November is kicking up again, along with the asthma symptoms

Medical gloves actually make things worse.

Both of my gyms are closed for at least the next two weeks, one had a confirmed case.

So what's the plan? :patrice:

catching a cold does not equal dying from the flu.

Being in-shape doesnt equal better immune health? :dwillhuh:

Im assuming we all eat healthy and do cardio.

:steviej:

It's been an honor coli brehs and brehettes.

Medical experts advise against wearing surgical masks to protect yourself against coronavirus, but what about disposable latex or latex-free gloves?

It turns out gloves aren’t a good idea, either, in spite of the fact that the COVID-19 virus may spread by contact with infected surfaces, experts say on the Today show.

“I don’t think they’re going to do anything but give people a false sense of security, waste time and create more demand for something that’s unnecessary, just like masks,” said Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, Today reported.

“Many people are still going to touch their face with the glove, which is actually probably worse,” Adalja said, according to the show.

It really does not make it worse. I use to wear them, when I worked in the lab and the only thing gloves do is act as an additional layer, so your hands do not get contaminated. The gloves get contaminated and still spread germs, viruses and etc., if they are not changed or clean.

You still have to clean or dispose of your gloves properly. Also, certain loations, hand creams and etc., can bread down the gloves and expose your hands to being contaminated. People still have to wash their hands, even if they are wearing gloves and also understand the proper way to taking your gloves off, so your hands do not get contaminated.

But the bottom line is that you still have to was your hands. In the lab I used to work with HIV, West Nile, Hepatitis A/B/C and other viruses.

They are really saying that because the public are going to take the supply away from the hospitals and the labs, who really need them.

Dark days are upon us brehs and brehettes. Be safe but keep working (out). Better not come out of isolation with no 'quarantine body.'
:martin:

And just imagine that summer body when you pull up on the beach and you're one of the few that stayed grinding.
