I was fasting when your were eating lunch in middle school. Ive done all the research and talked about it on this forum for years.

Fung is a known hack. Further most of his research is geared towards low carb and IF relative those with diabetes. Someone with diabetes does not have the same system in regards to insulin.

Beyond that nothing in his research connects IF with improved training or lean muscle mass building.

So no, I’m not ignoring it because these are subjects I’ve read about and actually done. What I’m waiting on and you continue to fail to produce is any correlation to improvement via your three day fasting/2 day a week lifting.

You passing out half ass advice to posters when you train two times a week is a joke.

Swag listen bruh, you can’t run this play on me because I lived IF for years, way longer than you.

So again post any research where your methods connect and produce known tangible muscle building results or STFU.

:dahell: So if you know who Jason Fung is as well as his research then why even play these games? Just say you think he and others that advocate fasting are hacks from the jump and we can agree to disagree.

Look. I don't give a fukk if ya'll do what I say. Just like I don't care about what you do. All I try to do is share my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. You can choose to not believe it. But what I do works for me. And I think it can work for others since its something most have never tried before. Everybody has tried the mainstream ways of dieting and exercise. And that doesn't work for everyone. I know it didn't work for me that well. I found this method and it has worked better than anything else. Personal experience is more important than what a piece of paper says. If you've tried fasting and found it ineffective then say so. If you haven't tried it because you don't want to then so be it. Nobody is forcing you to do it. I'm simply providing it to people as an option if they've tried all the mainstream shyt and found it ineffective.

You have nothing to lose by trying it. Anytime you find the fasting to be uncomfortable you eat. Its what I do. :yeshrug:

Swag how many times are you going to dodge the issue?

Stop the spinning, stop the paragraphs.

Present the research you claimed to do extensive research on that supports a connection between fasting for 3 days and training two times a week being an optimal path to building lean muscle mass.

If you know about Jason Fung then you know about the research regarding fasting.

I don't waste my time with disingenuous folks. I thought you were legit ignorant about fasting which is why I tried to educate you.

FTR 3 day fasts are optimal for me. I have anti-aging goals in addition to building muscle. If your goals are purely building lean muscle mass then 48 hour fasts are optimal.

I was gonna go to planet fitness this morning but that gyro plate word to @portcityplaya wouldn’t let me be great :francis:

I’ll try & go if not later (close at 7) I’ll get up early & be back home In time for work.

Once everything opens back up I’m switching back to Xsport or LA. Any thoughts on which is better ?

Question for everyone here doing jump rope :

You also got that experience that some songs make a certain time go by much faster than others even tho the length is the same ? :russ:
Right now im doing like 4-5 minutes at once for my first "set" and then a couple intervals of 1:30 and a little rest right after.
I really need to choose the right song for the first set, some go by pretty fast & others seem to drag :russ:
ATM its "Blow" by Rick Ross

imagine a cat who is 5'11" 155 lbs giving anybody any advice about muscle building lol

If you want an aesthetic body with the lowest body fat % you can get naturally as well as the most lean muscle mass then I can tell you how.

If you want to be one of these definition-less clowns in the gym then by all means don't listen to me.

Ripped >>> anything else

So giving advice is a problem? If folks have questions I will continue to answer.

BTW I didn't even want to be in this thread. Some @ me. I never come down to this subforum. Its not my thing.

Giving poor advice based on falsehoods and theories you can’t seem to find credible research on is the problem but you knew that already.

But feel free to keep espousing on your three day fast, 2 day a week workout routine that you are building muscle on. Better yet don’t because you’ve found a method nobody in the history of diet and training has discovered so you should try to monetize it.
