Slept 12 hours last night still recovering from all the pulling I did on Friday (5 singles @ TM + 9 working sets).

Ole lady cooked me 10oz salmon plus a whole plate of Mac and cheese :flabbynsick:

then I had some brownies :flabbynsick:

She in the lab making the French toast rn too :flabbynsick:

Next week is first deload hoping to hit all TM’s @ 3+ reps. Then a lot of assistance and cardio this week.

Deloads? On nSuns? Instead of just cutting assistance volume every 6-8 weeks?

I was either going to do an

A) Wendler type deload which I have planned.

B) Run program as usual, however don’t raise the TM the next week (Even when I hit the required reps) and just run it back.

Your saying a “deload” on nsuns should just be T1 + T2’s super light assistance? :jbhmm:

I'm saying skip the deloads on it unless you feel like you're starting to burn out (i.e. have flu-like symptoms which are indicative of overtraining).

When I deload on it I either don't up the TM for that next week, dial it back 10% but still press the singles, or cut the volume of the accessory lifts (not messing with T1/T2 or T3 Pendlay rows at all).
:whoa:

That whole 7th week protocol and old Wendler deload every 4th week are bushed on nSuns.
:camby:

Unless you can't get your TM for at least 3 clean ones there is no point to scheduled deloads (at this point).

My TM's are pretty low for where I "think" I should be but whatever I'm taking it :whoa:. I didn't empty the tank fully out like you would on that 3rd set for the main lifts

Squat - 200
Deadlift - 290
Bench Press - 175
Shoulder Press - 75

- weight and 45lb bar included.......

It's alright tho, get this cycle in and adjust where necessary once the muscles start becoming one with the iron again.....also got to factor in doing muay thai twice a week......

No, you're good then. :whew:

Not throwing shade but Wendler says folks with high TMs are finna be :dead: tryna do BBB at those numbers, at least at the numbers usually prescribed. BBB is a young man's (talking time under the bar) game.

Also make sure you have a decent surplus. Definitely don't do Boring But Big on a cut. :whoa:

BBB @ 70%, not necessarily even FSL numbers, for me right now would be like 5x10x290. :sadcam: For reference sake, if you're TMs are at 90% of 1RM and you can squat at least 4 wheels, BBB at only 70% is 5x10x255.

I did the BBB 13 week challenge once and told myself never again. :hubie:

Good looking.. Yea I ain't got no need to be cutting right now....I'm at I think 17%BF....I wanted to get to 15%, but fukk that..........13 week challenge, widowmakers, joker sets.....those could all be put on ice right now.....lemme get some simple BBB for two leaders and then a FSL as an anchor under the belt and repeat it then would could get creative. Just looking at the numbers I'm supposed to be pushing in the workout weeks all look doable for me at this point..

It's gonna be weird not doing full body part days...I've been so conditioned to that..been so used to leg day, chest day, back day, etc....gonna be fun.....

That's a nice attitude to have; I got bored quickly on both BBB and FSL (without Widows).

I would recommend swapping the BBB and Main lifts so you're at least doing both 2x a week.

(Jim used to program this as an alternative but it's kinda fallen out of favor. Allows you to practice the lift twice as much and makes the workouts less boring.)
