I think I'm done with 5 rep strength workouts for now, getting burned out on them

Nothing against them, but I think I enjoy higher reps more. Its not like I won't get stronger with higher reps, I will still be using progressive overload. Endurance and stamina are gonna go through the roof too.

Gonna try out 10 rep upper body and 15 rep lower body workouts for a while and see how it is

Did 2 sets of 15 rep squats yesterday and felt good as fukk. Core didn't hold me back, I felt like my legs got a better workout than my standard 5 rep sets.

Didn't like my last 5 rep bench session, felt like I was flailing with the weight. I need to get away from it for a while.

Dreading going back to high rep pull ups though :sadbron:

How do yall approch gurls at the gym? Never really cared about being social in the gym, always about my business and focused on my workout. :ld:Plus I always have headphones on.

But i always see this fine lightskin girl at my gym atleast 4 to 5 times a week. I almost see her everyday and sometimes she makes eye contact wit da boy :jawalrus:

Anyone else not a fan of seated dumbbell presses? I feel like the movement is awkward, and it bothers my shoulders. I'm going back to strictly OHP.

I think I'm gonna jump on the high-rep squats too. The low rep/heavy weight drains the sh*t of you.

Yep. Them low rep squats are great for turning you into a strong ass dude, but high reps allow more focus on the legs since the core no longer is a limiting factor with the lower weight.

Combined with lower body responding better to high reps, shyt is a perfect combination.

Some pro bodybuilders will do 25+ rep sets

Yep plus you gain lots of skill at the movement which ultimately helps you lift more weight safely when you wanna go heavy

Any of y'all ever seen a special needs cat in the gym before? I was doing my routine the other day when this Corky from "Life Goes On" looking dude rolled up with his handler - this awkward tiny woman in her early 20s who looked embarrassed to be with him in public - and started doing dumbbell presses. Yo, this cat did 20 sets of 25 on some cyborg shyt. After the 10th set his handler was getting nervous, asking him to please stop and move on to a new exercise or hit the pool... "wouldn't you like to swim now?" Son kept cutting her off, yelling I'm fine, I'm fine - I'm strong! in that distinctive voice the challenged always have, while busting out these sets like a German Volume Training expert. At that point the entire section of the gym we were in was dead silent, everyone was just watching him beast out these sets... and the weghts were not on some mad light shyt. I think he was rocking with 65 pound dumbbells, which ain't crazy, but for a tardo doing 20 sets of 25 reps that shyt was outfukkingrageous. One of the top 3 strangest things I've seen at the gym in the past 5 years.

What should i do get bigger biceps faster, easily my most lacking part. Oh and i realize thr reason i csnt see my abs as much as i should with low bf is i dont work them enough...i know im tarded

There aint no secret to getting big biceps. Just do curls every other day or every 3 days. Don't need to do 50 different varieties, just 2-3 sets of whatever (supplemental to your normal pulling work which also works biceps). But you aint gettin big arms while you cut, so you might as well get that out of your head. Muscle aint built from desire, its built from food. Curls + Food = Biceps. Curls + Food = Less Ab Visibility. Pick your poison.
