That moment when the equipment you would've liked to use is taken so you're forced to freestyle for the mean time. Don't the people in this damn city have jobs or go to school?

I'm thinking of switching up my routine. I usually do specific parts on specific days. Which I don't have issues with but I feel like I just need to cut and not bulk. I'm not gonna gain any more weight and I've been just maintaining consistency. I'm not fat either, I'm around 178. My diet could improve but I maintain weight and stay active at work too. But must of my fat goes to my stomach. Not like I have a big stomach but I know I can improve on it. I'm thinking of just sticking to mostly core and cardio exercises with some full body stuff like bench press, squats and deadlifts. While eliminating things like arm day and back day. Would this be wise or should I just keep working on every body part with more emphasis on my core since that's my main area of weakness? I know a six pack is tough to achieve but I'd be happy with even a two.
Yeah I feel you on that. I could go more often but when you have a random work schedule every week, it varies on when you can go. I used to go late night after work but now I've preferred going during the day. Either on my days off or when I have a closing shift since those start at four or five. Yeah I think a split is best. My legs are my strongest feature, always have been. Just gotta tone my core. I've been using that one machine that lets you lean sideways with a 25 to work on the sides. Usually do leg raises on the captain's chair with a 10 or so. I stay active outside of the gym especially at work with all the walking I do. And I walk on the treadmill in our garage as often as I can. I found this plank variation video the other day. Starting to check that out to strengthen core and stamina. Not like my diet is bad either. I don't eat enough for a bulk and most of the fat goes to the stomach and just goes away. I have minimized the junk like fast food but I don't eat enough anyways to make me fat. I'm gonna try doing abs like you on a few times a week basis. Maybe all this hair on my stomach is what's hiding the muscles.if you only have 3-4 days to hit the gym a week, a full body split or upper/lower split is where its at. No point in doing isolation exercises, until you have a decent physique and can spot your weakpoints. If you do wanna have abs, itd be wise to hit them a couple times a week tho, last bulk I did, I just tried to stick to compound exercises as my main ab workouts and when I cut my abs didnt look as good as they shouldve. This bulk, I'm hitting abs 3 x a week and hoping when i cut in the spring they pop out better.
word planks are always good since they train the main function of the abdomen which is to stabilize, one of the best things ive added on this bulk is the cable crunch, hanging knee raises and t bar torso rotationsYeah I feel you on that. PDX is some sex slave Cirque du Soleil bullshyt. Keep it meat and potatoes bruh. Full body split with like 2-3 decent (~500kcal) cardio sessions a week. Gotta choose whether u want to build strength or cut as well. If u arent happy with your stomach I would cut. Prob drop the lifting to 2x/week and put in twerk on cardio. Up your protein a lot and cut carbs. U will get rightI asked one of the employees and he mentioned something about pdx?
