Might have tight hip flexorsI think since I rarely do any exercising since college now
My hip Is starting to kill me
Exercising and stretching out can fix this right?
struggles.....even in oakland they be on sometrying out different yoga spots to help regain flexibility as well as lengthen muscle and ease joint/connective tissue tenderness. one class was too fukking crowded, it said it was good for beginners but she didn't even check to see if she had new students, if i wanted to be in a free for all class with next to no guidance, i'd take the wack classes at 24 hour fitness, the nerve of them being a dedicated yoga studio, charging $25/class for the same poor class experience as you'd get at a big box gym.and fukk that class was so white...like not young "i have black friends" white, the type of white you just feel uncomfortable around
all that said, i did enjoy the actual workout, just not a good class experience or a place i felt comfortable at
anyway, will be trying a new place this weekend. saw way more people of color in their photos lol![]()
Any brehs know what a man should implement to relive strees from their lower back ?
My fam got major back problems and I’m 23 starting to feel it already if I sleep wrong or if I’m on my feet all day (I am at work) just started sleeping in a better position, buying a posture brace and masseuse chair. Any stretching/yoga routines out there?
I have an actual bike on rollers. You def won't go as hard. I built a table for a fan and my laptop and I just chill.Anyone got a spin bike at home or do it alone at the gym? I want to get one, but I think it's the group dynamic that really pushes me in spin class (and that I enjoy - I really hate that group workouts/classes are my fave, it keeps me from working out at home) , don't know I'd go as hard solo.![]()
Regular water sucks for some reason once it gets cold. That makes no sense buti really don't get people who dont like water...and i dont understand the need to sweeten it. it, along with walking more, is literally the easiest, simplest thing to integrate into maintaining/improving health.
one, simply challenge yourself to drink water - set a recurring alarm, 10oz every 2 hours/ (5 oz every hour - basically one big gulp of water) - that's 80oz a day for the 16 hours most people are awake. once you train yourself to drink water you'll come to always drink/desire it.
two, why not take a natural (chemical free approach) such as drinking tea and/or making big jugs of iced tea (sugar free)
three, why not look into an infuser water bottle (put citrus, berries, veggies, herbs, whatever in it and flavor your water that way)
lastly, why not look into unsweetened carbonated water or still waters - hint water makes a ton of flavors in still or sparkling and i love la croix sparkling water.
edit: or chew gum while drinking water and let the minty taste wash down![]()
