Starting to realize that I gotta date me a chick who's with the gym lifestyle.

Been with my current girl for almost two years, and she's put on that relationship weight. About 20 pounds heavier than when we met. Told her she needs to make some changes because the gym's a big part of my life, so she got a membership. But she refuses to touch the weights with me and is always telling me "I'm craving <insert bullshyt food> here" and then I feel like the bad guy if I say naw, I'm not trying to fukk up my gains.

She's great in all other aspects, but I'm starting to think it's a dealbreaker. Anyone else been in a similar situation?

If you piss her off enough, she gonna lose the weight and bounce after she starts getting her head gassed from the new attention she getting..:heh:

If it bothers you that much, leave her:yeshrug:

You got a chubby girl on your hand and you don't like It?

Send her my way:shaq:

Try going on walks with her first at a lake or the park everyday, do some exercises with her at your home, fix healthy meals

You know my pain.

It’s probably not worth the risk to do it often. Now that the weather is turning I can get back to session with the Westside Butcher
LMAO, I know all to well. I started having hamstring, quad, pelvic muscle issues when I sprinted that's when it hit me, I'm getting older :mjcry:

:russ:

A Brotha went from Sprints, Hill Sprints, HIIT to jogging, power walking :mjlol:

I just started really lifting and I’m getting stronger already, seeing some muscle definition. But do I need to do more to see more belly fat reduction? Currently doing 5x5 squats, deadlifts and bench with accessory work in between. I’m in pretty good shape except for the stomach area. Diet is not horrible either. Is it just a time ting? :jbhmm:

Kind of depends:

On one hand 5x5 routines aren’t going to do a ton of fat burning directly like “cardio” typically can.

Also diet is “not horrible” is kind of vague. Are you eating in a deficit?

I’m talking broadly here but the best thing IMO anyone can do is set a cal/macro target for 8 weeks minimum. A lot of people jump in the gym, start eating “better” but then are searching for answers when progress doesn’t happen or stalls. You really need to have a baseline so that you know what works and doesn’t work and how you can adjust to keep progress going.

So diet is not something I’m tracking too closely. Maybe I need to. But I’m staying away from sugary drinks and meals. Eating usually two big meals a day with a protein shake in between.

I also would say I do a lot of cardio between playing ball and soccer. I just want my abs to show again :mjcry:

You could easily not be eating enough. I would really look at tracking every thing for an extended amount of time. No need to fly blindly and the benefits of knowing last as long as you want them to.

I actually came to that realization yesterday. I checked the calories after two meals and it was only like 1200 :damn: but I was full. I don’t feel like I’m starving :mjcry:. I want to aim for like 2000 but I’m not sure how to get there without eating like shyt

And also remember the body controls everything sometimes it holds on fat and certain areas called The Stubborn area and it will drop on its on, People are so quick to change and hop on different regiment sometimes you have to let the body do what it do.

You might not drop weight or loose fat in area quickly like you like and give up, or even add muscle for a few months then all of a sudden you wake up one day and Boom you see your abs.
