Today was a great day, It been a long time since I got under the Squat Bar and Squat over 400 pounds, the last time I did that was 2 years ago when I was powerlifting, I was repping 500 pounds. Life happens, School, work ect.
So in February I humbled myself and said I'm going to start I 135 pounds even though I could jump right into 350, but Its the journey getting the muscle memory back.
So I got under 375 rep it a few times, this guy who's a Oly Lifter said That shyt is to easy you In and out the hole with ease, stop playing.
Now that was my sixth working set, he said slap on 405, I'm like fukked it
I got under the bar and When I lift the bar off the rack the weight felt light as shyt, I started repping it with ease.
It felt great, people was congratulating me. Dudes was on other machine was like damn, that was your 7 set and repping 400 like that?
500lbs at the end of the summer
