Diet question.
made from two bananas, frozen berries and water (or hazelnut milk) but I just watched a video where this guy recommended staying away from smoothies because even with fresh ingredients and no additives they still pack a lot of calories and stop you dropping fat. Can anyone confirm?
This diet thing can be so confusing so many people will say different things about whats good for you and whats not.
Calories in, calories out.
2 Bananas = 220 cal
1 cup of mixed berries = 80 calories
3 cups of spinach = 20 calories
1 tbsp of Peanut butter= 100 calories
Water = 0 calories
Total = 420 calories
420 calories for a bkfast smoothie is fine. Add 2 boiled eggs for more protien and your at 560 calories.
You'll be fine. The problem with the smoothies is that it's easy to pack a lot of sugar in them. Just cause you got some spinach in there doesn't mean go crazy with the milk, yogurt and fruit.
Just measure the calories and ensure your in a deficit and you're good.
You may want to sub a banana for a more fiberous fruit e.g apples, pears
