How much do you now compared to when you just started lifting?

Not sure what you mean. Been lifting for almost 5 years now. Prolly run 40 miles a year max.

Before that I didn't really do shyt. When I did run it was easier because I was much lighter.

You said your metabolism was high. I was just curious to see how much weight you were able to gain since your journey began.

Ah. It still is. Currently about 50 lbs up. Was at 63 at my peak but the rona outbreak is killing my gains. :mjcry:

Why do you hate running?
Running outside I've always hated unless I was hooping.

Gym wise I prefer Bike /Treadmill/Stairs .

Since no gym I guess I'll have to start running more. Just all that movement irritates me :russ:

I have started jumping rope which has me soaked . I'll need to look up some other cardio that can get as close to running

Yesterday did 8 Push Ups/4 Pull Ups X 6, then 1 more Pull Up. Then did some ab work.

I was tired af and my body wasn't feeling it, so I just wanted to make sure I got my 25 Pull Ups in.

Today, I did some rolling, then came home and knocked out my 25 Pull Ups. Did some squeeze drills on my heavy bag.

Im 17 days into my 25 for 25 challenge.

i hate it also. something about running fukking annoys me, i just find others forms of cardio to be more efficient or entertaining - kickboxing, jump rope, spin, hiking or brisk walks, hill sprints or stairs or incline tread. running feels like endless high impact cardio for no reason, it literally makes me angry.
You gotta stop listening to David goggins when you run:heh:

You got hills or some place to go hiking? It took me 20 mins to go up and down this hill by me twice (was aiming for 3 but I was dead after two). Burned 210 cals just walking a damn hill, heart rate was hittin 85-95%. You don’t have to run to get your cardio up and/or burn cals

A fleeting childhood
Haven’t posted in what feels like a few days.

I’m jumping rope every chance I get and have come to terms with being “the fitness guy”. Half the work forces knows the whizzing sound is me somewhere in the building jumping rope. :lolbron:

cant wait to be able to give out solid advice.

hit legs, kinda proud at how hard I’m going in on myself, wanted to cut sets but kept going. I’ve always hated Bulgarian split squats, but making myself do them, only thing is I still haven’t perfected how to do leg curls and extensions with bands - the grip I need on the bands for the resistance I want hurts my hands, then if I go to a heavier band, I can’t move it...ugh. Finished off with a 20 min spin class and about to hit abs before bed


Also had cheat day with the fam, didn’t really eat all day so I could gorge and was full before I could really go in. Crab fried rice, shrimp garlic noodles, fried wings, dried fried ribs :blessed:
