Yeah my bad, wasn’t implying that anyone’s current method is wrongOh ok I get it but I’m ok think what I’m doing is fine . Here and there I might need a long rest but for the most part I just do a min and keep it moving .

Lion's maneWhat's in your stack? Been thinking of building up my own from the raw ingredients in the back of the labels.
We need less rest regardless of what rep range or style of lifting.Well I'm not a woman but I've trained enough to know longer rests are beneficial for pushing heavier weights.
You're not very stronk ao you wouldn't know any better about stronk people's needs.
Again, I'm talking heavy weights and lower reps, hence why I specifically mentioned powerlifting.
It makes perfect sense for gals to have higher rep endurance since they usually have more slow twitch and less fast twitch muscle fibers.![]()

We just talking breh no beef .Yeah my bad, wasn’t implying that anyone’s current method is wrong
I guess I read it that exact way. I didn't take it as him saying you need to rest 3 minutes. More so that try resting 3 minutes to give your body more time to recover for the next set. Like I said, I can see the theory in this. If I'm doing side laterals with my normal rest periods, I would use 30 lbs but with 3 minutes rest, i might be able to do 35-40 lbs. It doesn't sound unfessible that this could help increase growth/gains. I'm willing to give it a shot and see what the results are. Even if I don't see any positive results, it doesn't mean that there is no validity to what he is saying. It just might not work for me. Having an open mind to new ideas is how we advance as people.I think that’s the thing. It’s not about “need”, could it help you work heavier for more quality reps? That’s the other aspect the 3 minutes (according to him) allows for neural and muscular bounce back. So how are you working towards within one rep of fatigue in everyone working set without both. Might not be ideal for you to do so but that’s the idea.

I’m slowly folding it in. I’m down to 3 movements of working sets. Going to run this through the summer on a deficit and see how it goes.I guess I read it that exact way. I’m only talk about working sets with the 3 minutes. Other stuff is being done………….
