your comments not falling on deaf ears
I just got home and my body don’t even feel severely fatigued but by all accounts I should be pretty much done. All I got is a slight headache which may be from clenching my teeth.
Last time I went through this phase(6 years ago) I pretty much did GVT til I burnt off all that excess energy and stopped trying to up my numbers. This time imma drop the weight to 70percent of my maxes til I get my head on straight
"Excess energy" should have nothing to do with it.

1) Pick a short-term, realistic and attainable lifting goal.
2) Pick a program that supports you achieving that goal. (Notice how I said pick and not make.)
3) Follow the program to a T. (Don't add shyt, change its intended frequency, etc.)
4) Finish your workout sessions with as much cardio/conditioning as you can support, provided it doesn't impact your recovery for lifting.
That's it. That's all you have to do. Resetting your weights to 70% arbitrarily will prolly only have you relapse into your gym bullshyt again.
But as the (c00nish) Hodge twins said, "Do whatever the fukk you wanna do".
