I personally could give a fukk about a coast. That shyt is so 90s anyway. And to bring it into this era of battle rap is corny. After a while, that bullshyt didn't matter with hip hop music anyway because, if its dope, its dope. Yeah, its no secret that the Fresh Coast always had more of the style that wasn't as street that was more notable compared to the East Coast. Sad thing is, there were street battle rappers out there but it didn't get as much notice like it or not. Matter of fact, daylyt even speaks on it, I want to say in his Untold Truth interview. Anyways, regardless of all that, still nikkas put on for the sport of battle rap. It came up in the East and from the blocks and street corners and expanded thru DVDs, online vids, big battles, and etc. And when its not a certain way (lets say overly hood and street with tons of gun bars), nikkas wanna complain. Its battle rap, not everyone is going to want to hear about gun bars or better yet, not all battle rappers want to talk about that shyt. Anyways, just fukk with what you fukk with. I just think its oddball shyt to make battle rap have an east vs. west thing when hip hop music in general already had that and got over it.
