I may get flamed for this but besides his Rex battle, none of O-Red’s “big name” battles have been memorable. O-Red is who he is because he historically smokes lower/mid-tier competition and has forgettable big battles.

You sure about that? Wasn't JJDD and Norbes just going back and forth not too long ago about URL SMACK trying to do a southern division and it falling thru when JJDD did his own thing? That did happen. Let's not act like that partially didn't have shyt to do with it either. Hell, Ars and SMACK was at each other over him starting U DUBB at one point.

URL has a hold on Champion. And Champion can influence opinion. URL has a problem with someone who battled on their platform creating their own platform. It was made public it was a problem. So controlled media follows suit and spins a narrative. nikkas believe it because guess what...they like Champion. Its a simple as that whether you want to believe it or not.

This is subjective.

He should have more views if this were the case.

I don't think his material is complex, but he has a creative way of getting straight to the point if that makes sense. I'm sure someone will rebuttal that and say "well that is complex," but NJT hasn't said anything that takes multiple watches to "get."

However, my ears are so trained when it comes to battle rap that maybe his material is viewed as complex.

Twork lacks views IMO because of one of these two reasons
1. He chokes in the first and nikkas don’t wanna watch anymore after that
2. He always starts off slow and can lose your interest if you aren’t really into battle rap. His overhead stuff can really sound like gibberish to some..I’ve seen it happen when I put on the ill will battle for the homies. And he’s also just new. The views will come as his popularity continues to rise.

I know Math aint been as great lately but like Verb before recently, I still think motivation is the biggest factor with them and theyd show up in a big battle, unlike clips lets say who was weak vs hollow and ehh vs lux , he had moments but he was only good for the first half of the battle.

but math/hollow, id much rather see this than jjdd vs hollow, even though i think that battle now has a better chance at happening, im surprised how much i felt it was being promoted on vol 2, hollow was saying he wants to give an up and comer a shot, does that mean it has to be a newer battler like twork lets say or would e consider ored because it would still be oreds first big shot at least on url, i felt vs hitman on high stakes was his first real big shot and hitman won clear the 1st and 3rd, thats actually one of hitmans better performances imo but the battle is forgotten about, ored was sick but still his material wouldnt have won to me anyway, and its not like hitman was saying anything too crazy, still i wouldnt mind seeing it just cause fresh kind of made me think like yeah who is left for hollow or ored to even battle. but id still like ored to get a run first.

but really outside of mook, who i dont think is coming back, id prob rather see hollow vs math than him vs any other battler. just with the recent disagreement and the history, i think it would be dope. but hollow, like pretty much almost everyone else is gonna run from math, nobody wants to battle math if he actually has a real personal on them, i get it but its kind of p*ssy. other than rex and diz.

Math and Hollow are on good terms again so I don't know how bad I want to see it anymore but I agree with the premise of this.

None of those guys are big view getters. Most big view battlers are because they're facing another big name. It's really hard to get a million views battling low tier/mid-tier names. For someone that isn't battling anyone with a big name, he gets around 500K, which is pretty good. I bet this Verb battle is his first million view battle because Verb is big enough of a name.
