So Smack said he doesn't respect 'non-certified' bloggers in his eyes, hours later Hennyman puts out the war cry to attack bloggers on sight. This is hilarious and sad at the same time.

It's time for Smack as a company to find a new face to do these interviews because Troy Mitchell thinks he's a real crime don.

Aight I finished Bodied.
So here's what I'll say.

The good: The shyt is well shot and the added graphics give it a nice touch. The actual actors in it were on point and it was dope they gave a lot of names in the battle community cameos in it. It definitely made me realize if Lux and Hollow were a 2 on 2 team, they would be sick with it. Didn't mind the plot too much. The messages of race, politics, gender, and etc. constantly throughout the film, I appreciated (whoever played Ben Grym's wife had the best rounds of the whole movie, lol).
The bad: Some cringeworthy moments, the main character not knowing how to rap but utilizing slam poetry to be able to battle rap was not something I was into. And also, climbing up the ranks in battle rap like that doesn't reflect the reality completely. A big exaggerated. I feel like it the ending was way too open-ended as well. Some of the acting from some of the battle rap personalities was pretty forced, too, and sometimes it seemed like it was just extra awkward.

Overall: I give it a 3 out of 5. I know a lot of y'all complained because it was more so from the perspective of the GT/KOTD/Scribble Jam/white demographic of battle rap and would prefer to see a film from the perspective of the SMACK DVD era based style. I agree....I want to see that, too, because it would be nice to have a battle rap film kind of like "Juice" and etc. But I like that its a start and quite a few of the greats, especially SMACK, got to be a part of this project in some form to pay homage in a way. I would have had more of a problem with that if they didn't do that. I thought it was cool and happy that it was based around battle rap but as a film overall...a tad overhyped. Gave me that indie film feel but I needed a bit more from the plot in the end.

Bodied was Cool.. I like how some of the Dudes who put in a lot of work(Big T,Ars,Dumbfound,Lux,Hollow..etc etc..) got to Shine..
As a fan of Battle Rap.. I hope it opens more Doors for some of them..

I like how the League Owners had Cameos in it too..

Also I didnt take it as serious as everyone else did..

It definitely wasn't on no Culture Vulture Shyt..

As for the GrindTime/Kotd format.. It didn't bother me at all.

Movie had a lot of Truth in it. Will definitely watch it again.

It's funny that people will support these Culture Vulture ass Bloggers and other Platforms..
But won't support a Movie about The Culture we all love..

Hey.. maybe they will do a Bodied 2,Smack Edition.. But until then.. Folks need to Relax..

That's my point for real. I would hate to see people who aren't even involved in battle rap make a movie like this.
As for a movie, I have to speak on it separately since I am big into movies and TV shows, there was some holes in it, imo. And maybe that was stuff that got cut out. Who knows.

Because we don't want to support it presented from this perspective. Just looking at the main character infuriates me, honestly.

When I close my eyes the main character in a battle rap movie looks like Chess or somebody like that. Not Charron.
