Nobody dismissed Drake looking out for Twork.

Twork can be helped and still speak with honesty or simply refuse to answer. That’s a grown ass man.

Twork is an important figure in the Battlerap CULTURE so this behavior by a prominent figure when the world is watching isn’t insignificant.

If the integrity of a Battlerap can be BOUGHT so easily.
Who does this harm on a cultural level?
What does this say?

This transformation of the culture curated by artistic integrity,
to one curated by a financial class system.

Who benefit from this phenomenon first?

This within itself is why Battlers don’t like judges battles.

They don’t like it when suggested judges for battles are non-Battlers. they reject that system “because they’re not Battlers”

And when Battlers are suggested it’s “but such and such is biased” LMAOOOO

Meanwhile there are competitive sports that are subjective being monetized on the highest level.

This is a business model that could’ve been implemented in Battlerap, if the cultural integrity had been preserve. as this was the case in the early stages of Battlerap.

But yeah, be unaware how cultures get colonized all you want.

It’s not that deep when it’s ppl nikkas like, until the VLADs and Adam22s do the same thing
we talmbout Twork looking out for someone who looked out for him...you takin warp zones leapin from world to world...aight man it's all connected i'll entertain it

You talmbout the integrity of twork. the man who chokes time and time again, and is repeatedly caught stealing other people's bars. the integrity...of a purse snatcher who still got fans en masse. integrity BEEN cooked what are we doing here?

i'm not even mad at the rest of your babble but it hinges on this idea that battle rap as a whole is growing, and furthermore, growing into something profitable to the point where someone would go purchase it. These mfs usually spend money to make money and it doesn't seem like right now the returns justify the investments. Why else them Caffeine budgets shrink? How many million view battles we have in the last few years? Battles aint getting good payouts from Youtube? They gotta purchase a standalone app? this shyt been broke, a judged battle aint gon do shyt

anywho i aint mad at Tay Roc vs Jerry Wess on NOME, especially with how few URL events are coming out nowadays

For the 100th time.
You can look out after ya mans that lost and keep your integrity by not speaking on the winner of the battle, it ain’t rocket science.

Battlerap takes place Within the space of Hiphop.
They’re interconnected by default wether you like and understand it or not

You’re confirming my point that Twork shoulda BEEN handled by leagues, but the lack of cultural integrity prevented that from happening lol.

That’s two layers on the cultural side and Business side that add to the issue (as Battlers are self-employed contractors)

The integrity of Battlerap is a crucial aspect why Battlerap had the eyes of regular folks and the Big Money Guys likes Puff, Hov and Em.

“The investment ain’t worth it”

Battlers getting paid 5 figure to go up there and choke delivering bad product.
Only to then brag about received funds and argue with fans in spaces
Battlers missing battles for the most random reasons.

You’re REALLY gonna overlook Battlers getting OVERPAID and UNDERPERFORMING because of a lack of professionalism/artistic integrity not being the elephant in the room in the Caffeine situation?

Which is literally a continuation of a structural behavior of Battlers not being able to stay professional and keep cultural integrity when money comes into play? Aaight man lmao

Without any money transferred, X-Factor (and a few others) have went on record to state Calico beat Lux.

:mjlol:

Point is there is an inherent bias when u feel like someone is your man; especially dealing with an emotional nikka who has brandished a weapon on camera cause his mans was getting the beats from an olhead or beat a nikka up cuz he suspected him of being a talking puppet
