What sickens me is that many of you fail to see that women are followers of what WE men validate as manhood.

They follow OUR lead. We are the ones who called these dudes corny. We are the ones who called them simps. Women follow OUR lead.

How many more suburban black boys do you need to see "perform hood," thinking that's "real Black manhood" for you to NOT get it?

Have a bit of chauvinism in your whining. Women follow US and who WE as MEN validate.

I didn't "fail" to see SHYT, SMH.

:stopitslime:

There is no "WE", never in my life have I called a "Stable Man, "Corny"...

I'm a Stable Man.

Both myself and the Good Breh @Uachet are MARRIED to Black Women, and have been for years.

And Women on average do not GIVE TWO FUKKS about what "Men Think", they care about what other Women Think.

Women validate other Women, Women are in Competition with other Women.
Women typically date Men that OTHER WOMEN consider "Worthy Of Dating", not what "Men think", SMH.

Men on the other-hand (On Average), actually care what Women want, and try and "emulate" it.
This shyt is "Supply And Demand", if more Women were primarily interested in the "Stable Dude", there would be a ton of "Stable Men".

"Stable Men" are often seen as "Boring" to a lot of Women.

The average Man is NOT going to call something "Corny" ("Stable Men"), if in actuality being one "Gets You Puzzy".

Being perceived as "Unstable" "Not Boring", "Exciting", ETC...
Is what gets the "Panties Wet", so that is often what gets emulated.

EVEN Lesbian "STUDS" emulate the "Unstable" "Not Boring", "Exciting" "Male Persona", as they know that on average will get the "Panties Wet".
They ain't tying to emulate "9-5 Tony", SMH.

But back to the ACTUAL Topic, the Women in the OP video is just spouting Misandry nothing more, nothing less.

All of the "Other Talking" points are smoke screens for her REAL POINT in the video.

HER OWN WORDS (THE ACTUAL "POINT" SHE IS TRYING TO MAKE):

Black men deserve better role models.
Black boys deserve to see builders,
husbands, fathers, and leaders,
not eternal adolescence with stylists.

And you can get mad if you want to,
but I said what I said.

Like I said MISANDRY, that is all this is.

For the record, I don’t think this lady was placing blame on Black men.

I think she is saying that there has been imagery and certain ideas pushed on Black ppl that have made certain elements seem “cool” to us, but not anyone else. There’s a reason why we went from having the highest marriage rates to the lowest in a matter of decades. That wasn’t solely because of Black men or Black women.

Funny, you added my statement and my statement was general to both sex's gurus doing this. So what problem do you actually have with the idea of responsibility being placed where it should be, instead of focusing on just one sex?

Oh, and any fool who thinks women do not have agency is a simp. They can make their own decidions in this country, and can choose whom they desire to date in this country. So if women are choosing unfit men, it is because that is what they want. The same can be said about the men who choose unfit women. That is why my statement was a general statement about gurus only seeing oneside of the equation, which funnily enough you just demonstrated above.
Nope. Again...it's not women who announce in celebration with the community that this drug dealer was a hero for us to splash his name across a wall. It's not women who are calling men snitches. Its not women who created the term simp and weaponized it to attack other men.

I tell my own daughter to don't waste time trying to change a man's mind or you'll end up being a nag. Either he's ready to or it will be his homies or the greater society of men who say they should change.

Women are FOLLOWERS of males....period. We have BALLS. I'm an admitted chauvanist in that way knowing we as men dictate shyt. It ain't no damn women doing so. I don't care how many degrees they have. Until men in THIS country stop acting like hoes running away from the things WE construct, we will continue to plunge down this hole.

Men validate manhood and women follow our lead...period.

For the better. Cause thats how men handled business. You confront the issue and strategize how to operate and go from there.

If you knew what that entailed you wouldn’t be on a fukking forum crying like a hoe about some ‘misandry’

Whether you’re a square like myself or not a bytch ain’t wasting her breath or time on a man who got 1001 excuses why he can’t get what he want out of life

I don't care what her words are. We both are stable men. But it wasn't stable men being painted on that wall. It was Killer Ben.
Eddie-1024x768.jpg

and it wasn't no gatdayum women who as a hood honored him either. It was men. But here we are surprised that women chase behind it.

I will never forget going to OU with a guy who was a preachers son. Niqqa used to sweat me for no other reason than me being from Brooklyn knowing I grew up around the shyt he loved that I was moving AWAY from. He so badly wanted to be hood that the shyt made no sense and annoyed me to no end.

Months later I see this niqqa with some obvious Cali niqqas with jherri curls at a party. Dude gave me a head nod and I just shook my head.

Months later, he and his girlfriend were found stuffed in an Oklahoma City closet full of bullets.

Nah. It's men who validate being hood as being real Black men. And then want to act like some bytches when surprised that women follow behind who we validate as men.

Man please.....neither you or I are special for being respectable men. But you being in denial that its US (not YOU personally) who validate problematic Black manhood that women follow behind is the biggest problem we as a people face as a community.

Any "discussion" about Stable Black Men, being seen as "Corny" that doesn't ALSO address the fact that many WOMEN also see those type of Men as "Corny", is one-sided and FULL OF SHYT.

These conversations are always presented in a way where ALL of the issues of relationships in the Black community are placed solely at the feet of Black Men.

She didn't even BOTHER to mention what Woman should be/could also be doing.

It's just MISANDRY dressed up in a Dashiki, masquerading as some sort of "Pro Black" sentiment.

:unimpressed:

I think Black men's biggest weapon is just staying in our own lane. If a black woman sees us as corny, then good. Less time and money wasted on bullshyt.

Imagine having to constantly put up a fake image and then you end up getting exposed too.

She kinda was blaming black men, but the "cool" anti intellectualism factor is a result of getting as much women as possible and not being "soft". Back in the 90s ans early 00s, every black man had the :birdman: expression to not get picked on and not be a target out of survival means. You can also argue that gangsta rap been pushed hard by the CIA to keep black men occupied with superficial shyt.

Are you serious? Have you actually lived in those neighborhoods? I have, Los Angeles and Baltimore. The women also participate in the parties. The women also are dating the drug dealers. The women who choose them, are making a choice just like the men are.

Also, I find it interesting that you are laying this all at the feet of men, like the majority of men actually participate in the havoc that goes on in those neighborhoods. Studies show only 6.4% of Black men have self-reported as selling drugs. Yet here you are, acting like drug selling is a normal action for men in the Black community to participate in, and that it is something most of the men are looking up to.

It seems your brand of Pan Africanism is pushing false narratives about the average Black man here in the US. Since the Average Black man here in the US is also Black American, your Pan Africanism demonstrates a particular support for stereotyping Black American men. Absolutely amazing, but I am not surprised one bit by this. This goes back to what I said to you about some of the followers of Pan Africanism. You just demonstrated your negative view about Black Americans, which is what I was pointing at in my original statement in a previous thread.

What he did in that post above is more proof why I suggest we ignore non-Black Americans on issues concerning our community. Too many of them believe the stereotypes about us, and will argue using them.
