Because it’s a hard job, I use to work with my uncle at a construction site when I was growing up. My uncle was a carpenter, he tried to put me onto it. The pay was brutal, and it was the hardest work I ever did in my life. It motivated me to become a STEM breh, I knew my soft hands weren’t built for that life.
My uncle tried to get my brother into it too, and he didn’t like it either. He became a truck driver. Carpentry is filled with illegals in New York, they turn a lot of brehs off from getting into construction cause the illegals will take below minimum wage.
A lot of brehs will choose truck driving before working in those trades.
