I agree with some of this however there is nothing wrong with using all the resources available to you to get were you need to go.

I agree use those resources while while you can :myman: but ultimately it's every woman for herself....you gotta be ready and able when those resources not available :ld: nikkas not reliable imo

instead of trying to pin abuse on one group of men
why don't you just not fukk with abuse at all, regardless of whos doing it

I've never abused a woman. Physically, mentally, spiritually, what have you. I'd probably have more success with women if I were a more domineering A-type guy who was on that game shyt. I'm not that :yeshrug:. How can I be a woman beater if I don't have access to women like that? Valid

It just so happens that I'm more an easy going type of guy. I'm not Black video game Nerd but I'm not mr. charisma either.

Are you being deliberately obtuse?

I actually think you are.

Creating and supporting black businesses and improving of the black economy.

So if you realize there's a problem, and you understand that, why demonize victims of that problem? Most of these "street" dudes live in extremely low income communities with little to no job prospects or access to good schooling (and thus college), and the ever present fear of police brutality and incarceration. You know that. So why demonize them, and act like somehow those who were lucky enough to escape the system, are somehow better?

No, you have a bad habit of giving super vague solutions while thinking they're somehow profound, you'd do yourself and others a favor by actually fleshing out in detail what you'd like Black people to do instead of "we need to stop embracing the hood"

Miss I know what racist whites do and I wont give them a pass but we have our part to do as well.

I know that some street dudes cant help it but there are still some that can improve but choose out of their own will to embrace that hood mentality.

Creating and supporting black businesses improves the black economy, being financially responsible and supporting and giving back to the black community isnt vague and profound.

Its something that most of us can do.

That's not what I mean
when abuse comes up (and not just with blacks, everyone does this) , instead of admonishing the actions themselves, what always gets talked about is avoiding unsavory characters (men and women) so abuse doesn't happen

but people don't have to pass checkpoints to earn the ability to abuse
they just need to feel like abusing you in that moment
like if when abuse comes up and all that gets said is "women need to leave the thugs alone", where does it leave the older woman who gets slapped up by her white collar husband occasionally. Where does it leave the young man whos girlfriend slaps him in the the face and the back of the head in public when he says stuff she doesn't like?

With that said, what are your feasible solutions besides "create black businesses"? :jbhmm:

Make black media more powerful. Then we can expose good black men and women more so than those with the hood mentality.

We need more Lauryn Hill and less Nicki Minaj

You're just throwing a whole bunch of solutions at me with no explanation as to how you'd get that to happen or support those endeavors. :jbhmm:

Its general decision making skills and actions that they are referring to when they say leave hood dudes alone. Improving decision making skills and actions is beneficial.

When the people in your examples improve their decision making skills and actions then they would leave as soon as they enter those scenarios.
