YOU said black men are incapable of oppressing right? Now you're backtracking from that argument and reaching for the "Oh these 'oppressive' men are coming from single parent homes" argument.
PLEASE BE CONSISTENT.
The stat reads likes this: 70% of black children are BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK.
The stat DOES NOT read like this: 70% of black children are being raised by single mothers (which is the bullshyt that you just spouted).
^^^Re-read those two statements and let it sink in. Do you see the difference between the two statements??? You are misquoting a stat that you clearly do not understand.
Furthermore, it's been proven that black men are more likely to remain in their lives of their children despite not being in the home.
The Myth of the Missing Black Father
^^^So please KILL this lie that black women are raising these boys alone. While black fathers may not be in the home they are either 1). In the children's lives or 2). Somewhere nearby and known to the children.
Different word...same lie! Next...
Can't we stop pretending that the "black p*ssy" that black men who call black women bytches and hoes get is top notch "black p*ssy"?
These men are attracting their female counterparts in most cases (i.e., Hoodrats, thugettes etc).
However, their use of the word "bytch" and "hoes" is usually in reference to women in general. Thus, that's why I classify it as a form of oppression.
Despite what you delusional men on this site might think black women come in all shapes, sizes and mentalities. To group all black women as monolithic but turn around and demand that we not group you in with the Lil Waynes, Pookies and Ray Rays is ridiculous.
Bullshyt. IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY, black men DO have the ability create and subscribe to a standard of beauty.
So now you're trying to say that "beauty standards" are the ONLY form of oppression? No sir, try again.
Once again, IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY, black men DO have the ability to create and subscribe to a beauty standard. You can point to the NATIONAL media all you want. It doesn't change the reality that black men created and defined the black aesthetic in the 1970s with the AFRO and phrases like "black is beautiful." The white man didn't have a thing to do it.
You're trying to absolve black men of their flaws, colorism, internalized racism, and self-hate but it's clearly not working.
No you used that .gif because you're baffled and can't articulate any REAL points or rebuttals.
Then why did you make a point to make a statement on this topic???
