What I say is based on my observation of failed and successful relationships that I observed in real life.

Its just advice, you can do whatever you want to do.

I'm not low key defending it. I'm from the hood, I grew up in the hood, I'm a hood chick. You just have a limited scope of understanding and see things in black and white, black nerds vs. street dudes. You associate stereotypical behaviors with each group. You don't think beyond what makes someone a hood dude. You consider yourself a black nerd and thus associate good behaviors and qualities of a man with them, whereas you associate commonly negative behaviors with street dudes. That's not right. What makes someone want to engage in street life? What are the factors? It's just not black and white. And your life doesn't necessarily fit the entire narrative.

I see good men and bad men. I see more bad men in the group of dudes that have the hood mentality than those who are nerdy. I am making a comparison between two types of black men. I am not denying the existence of other types.
