I'm shocked at all these people like "Memphis is good now" when last year the league was so shook of them beating the Oklahoma Chucking Thunder that they suspended Zbo...

To this day that is so wild to me...I can't remember a teams top 2 player getting suspended for a game 7 in the playoffs ever...

At the very least the league should be lucky they fukked up and let Great Whiteside go...

Could you imagine having to deal with Zbo and Gasol...and then when one of them sits Great White comes in

He got Harden, and Howard here. The stands are filled and the Rockets are in the playoffs every year. Not to mention they're not that far from winning a championship. Plus since Morey took over in 07 Rockets have the 3rd best record in the league over that time. I'd say they won with Morey. Talent is obviously the most important. But the Spurs get the edge from areas outside of talent that other organizations dont even know exist...The Spurs being good every year isn't just off of talent. They do everything right. The only thing that can really offset that is a talent as good as Lebron- who's obviously extremely unique.

And teams like the Mavs and now the Hawks seem to be catching up with what the Spurs do.

Knowing how to play them together is pretty important though. Gotta know each players skills and how they fit together on the court to maximize their collective abilities. That's primarily what analytics is.

You don't need analytics to do this. It's funny how they keep mentioning the MAVS. But Mark Cuban has said they rarely even use analytics.

everyone, meaning industry uses some spreadsheet science that sabotages what could really ultimately be gained.
