If you've ever seen the movie "The Prestige", it eerily mirrors Kendrick vs. Drake beef

Christoper Nolan movie, one of the the dopest I have ever seen...

But if you've seen the movie, and you think of Kendrick as Borden (the perfectionist magician illustionist who dedicated his life to the craft in ways that no man could imagine, and studied the art but had trouble wowing the crowd because he wasn't flashy enough) and Drake as Algier (the wealthy Duke who pretended to be a poor person because he wanted to be a magician and he could not understand why Borden was so dope but he found a secret sauce through some "ghost help" that helped him became the most famous magician on the planet, but he also had the real gift of being a showman)

and their intense rivalry

and at the end they kinda both won and lost. With Algier getting his payback for cheating the system and trying to destroy people even though you do realize at the end, he did sacrifice to get where he got.

And Borden losing the people he loved the most, which was kinda due to his insane dedication to his craft, but being allowed to live as part of himself, the quiet part that can dissappear and be normal again...

And remember - "The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything." :wow:

9th wonder compared kendrick to Nolan as well.. said just because the dude wasn't really a battle rapper didn't mean he wasn't qualified for a war...he's a student of the game...someone like him being from Compton would get all my money in a battle.

Cats easily fooled thinking Kendrick is some super deep mastermind, knowing damn well this dude has a team like everyone else.

Overrated just like Christopher Nolan is.

He just happened to run into a clown like Drake and still damn near missed that layup:mjlol:

Why not look deep into things and make creative correlations between fictional stories and art to take unique perspectives on the World that we live in, instead of just living surface level.

If you choose to be simple. That's fine.

Every artist has a team.

Kendrick Lamar is a great artist, not just from a rap perspective.

Drake is a great artist in his own right, honestly.

And Magic is not real - Borden and Algier were both illusionists, not real magicians.

Everything isn't a conspiracy theory.
