So I started last week a 500 calories and 100 carbs a day diet with no exercise. I will be joining the gym next week but I'm wondering if I continue this diet, will I actually lose weight? :ohhh:

I'm trying to lose my belly :patrice:

Welp brehs, I'm at 6'5" 255. I'm trying to cut down to ~220 before I start bulking. I lurk other fitness forums, but The Coli is the only forum I'm comfortable with and trust. Now I have a question. I have some muscle, but I don't want to lose it during a cut. How would I go about doing that?

keep the protein high while on deficit and dont stop lifting

ease off on the hard cardio if you do it currently(IE from 5 times a week to 3 times or less)

Good luck breh, you are a stronger person than me on that. Temper your expectations in the sense that at some point you will go back to eating solid food. Have a plan for better nutrition now so you can transition easy and not put the weight back on.

what about arms? i dont really need to lose weight (6'3" 200 lb, athletic build), ive got a 4 pack (id like to make it 6 however :ehh: ) but my arms are flabby, no definition whatsoever.

Alls i got is two 10 lb dumbbells. Was thinking about picking up some 20lb later this week. Can i get some definition with just those and the rules mentioned in the OP of this thread? should I pick up some barbells as well? :lupe:
