Im in the kitchen like :cook: with onions, peppers and tomatoes nshyt. What else you got for me? Tips, exercises? This dude told me I should take amino acids :lupe:

I'ma start doing mountain climbers and this ab roller soon and start back hooping on boys too
if youre low, id say worry about salt and keeping water down. itll give you a more defined look

if youre cutting(and counting) keep the deficit small. the smaller the deficit the less chance for muscle loss. and your lifts wont take as much of a dive

@MMSex you mentioned taking no more than 20 cals per 1 g of protein when cutting but does it matter when pertaining to calories from fat?

the ratio is built on an understanding of how calorically dense each macro nutrient is

for instance:

Carbs and Proteins: Roughly 4 calories per gram nutrient

Fat: Roughly 9 calories per gram nutrient

with that being said, if the density of protein per calorie is high enough, your fat and carb levels will sort themselves out. In a way i basically gave yall a template to manage all 3 macros without really having to worry about 2 of them.

ideally you want around 15 calories per gram of protein but that gets difficult

I know i’m real late but I dont be on the forum too much. Anyway this site helped me tremendously to count my macros https://www.fatsecret.com/. take a look at it.

@MMSex thanks for all the knowledge you dropped in here helping brehs out. I went back to the gym and trying to take it to another level. I first started in 2013 and everything went kinda right. I wanted to bulk and I did succeed in it in just a few months. Then I went to another country and couldn't hit the gym nor eat right there. Now I am at 5'10'' for 187 lbs. I went back to the gym 2 weeks ago with the aim to bulk again. I got a better understanding of how things work and I think I got a good beginners routine and diet if I stick with it. But after reading and rereading stuff I am thinking if I should rather be cutting. I am not and never been (or felt) fat. But truth is I got a bloated stomach and and knowing my body better now I know that If i bulk I will have difficulties getting writ of it. Stay bulking and more cardio ? Or cut ? I’m kinda lost here.

Just hit my brother up on the text.
"Starting tonight! Gym every single day for a month and clean eating."

I've been slacking and the main reason, besides horrible eating habits, has been because I'm not comfortable with the idea of going to the gym alone like that. I think having a partner would make it easier for spots, and for friendly competition.

id say:

1. bulk with a tiny surplus(200-400 cals) for 3-4 months
2. cut with a tiny deficit(same) until you like what you see

in that order

maintain the lifting and cardio regardless the route

if you are just "bloated" id aim for filling out alittle more then proceeding to cut.

just make sure you adhere to the surplus/deficit numbers. Dont skimp around on it.

I'm jus looking for advice. . Oh..also ..supplements. .I take my whey protein religiously. .but all that other shyt out there that "claim" to get u ripped and burn fat...and even other things like B 12 and that stuff.. do I need that to get to my ultimate goal.

diet is 80-90% but you need to make the lifting a lifestyle and dedication to continuous improvement of your physique
