How tall are you? Unless you are really short I don't see why you would try it.
5'7..5'8 in shoes :mjpls:

and the only reason is because i want to get every bit of fat off as possible before i start a long bulk. i got to 150 before, though i was told i looked a little too thin, but thats okay because im playing the long game.

I'm guessing because I don't know your habits and body composition but that might not be possible in an optimal manner. At a certain point your body locks and and isn't going to allow it. Lifting and doing sprint intervals with a 1500 cal diet will only serve for your body to hit the .:whoa: On one hand its 10 pounds on the other the odds it's going to be 10 pounds of fat only in that time frame is not likely.

1500 cals daily is torture.

Before dropping that low maybe take a look at your macros and their timing.

some of the calculators i was doing it on were estimating late november, early december as goal dates. theres no way i could do this for another 6 months.

I mean that's your answer. The odds of you hitting ideal body comp in the first few cycles isn't high.

would a fat burner give me that extra boost to cut atleast another 5 pounds?
Hard to say, it can be an individual thing. Yohimbe for example made me hold a lot of water.

What are you beholden to? 5 pounds of scale weight or 5 pounds of pure fat?

good question. perhaps i need to forget what the scale says and just go by how i feel and look, which is good.

@MMSex its getting hard to lose that weight man :mjcry: down to 160, trying to get to 145-150 by september 1, but looking at the amount of calories i would have to eat to achieve that goal is :damn: talking like 1500 cals, which i always thought was a no-no to eat so low. what can i do to achieve this without taking more than 2 months breh?
start clean bulking, eat 300-500 cals extra day and focus on lifting

am i going to run into this same problem when i hit my next cut cycle? am i never going to have abs? :mjcry:
Abs works two ways:

Actually having developed abs to show and low body fat to show them.

Personal anecdote:

On the deepest cut I ever did I got down to 170, not abs in sight because they weren't developed. I started lifting heavy and doing compound exercises and while I'm not ripped they are developed enough so see them occasionally.

what do you suggest about cardio while on such a low calorie intake? get rid of it and focus on heavy weights? same question with a clean bulk, dont do any cardio? or stick with it but do duration as opposed to high intensity?

Low as in the 1500 range your were contemplating? I wouldn't do any cardio in that regard other than walking.

Hard to say on the bulk because I'm trying to do that the correct way for the first time so I'm experimenting just like you would be. That said, I have one hit session in my plan per week and then two days where I walk about 5 miles. I'm not a fan of dedicated cardio honestly. I would rather incorporate super-sets, met-cons, and plyos during a workout than the traditional forms of cardio.

just calculated my numbers using the calculator on first page of the thread..my bmr is 1749 and activity is 401..equaling out to a total of 2150. so do i just add 300-500 cals to the total number, or my bmr number?

I wouldn't go full on in just yet. Add 100 cals per day on top of the 2150 and see how your body responds for 7-10 days.
