I’d imagine major east coast markets being relevant and in the playoffs - Boston, NY/Brooklyn, Chicago, Atlanta - plays a big role in this.
Yep. They can simulcast. I work for local news and there are problems associated with putting games on network(staying late to run the newscast, overtime, etc) I just says network though because that’s the easiest way to get ratings. ABC and ESPN are both under Disney but it doesn’t they are on the same wavelength. Bob costas highlighted how ESPN needs to allow the NBA to be more on their ABC network.
