Honestly breh I owe an apology to you(even though I wasn't trying to come at you disrespectfully). I don't even know how I didn't read that he asked her to text him. I just thought she didn't respond to one of his texts in time. But to be fair I've been in situations where I've asked a girl to text me and couldn't or rather didn't(but did much later on). lol, it's all good breh. there is no real "right answer" anyway. everyone has their own style and way of doing things and it's not make or break.

as far as dude's situation, i'm not saying he should hold a grudge or be bitter about the fact she hasn't text yet. For all he knows there could be a legit reason she hasn't texted. all i'm saying is to not think about it. even if she is shy, she will eventually find a way to get back in dude's cypher. If she's shy, dude would e indulging her shyness by taking all the steps towards her and she will get used to it (and this will be more headaches in the ling run). I think it's better to teach her not to be shy when dealing with him.

We like to do fun shyt (we went bowling before)so i offered to do go kart racing at a legit go kart place (60mph+) and she's really excited. not sure what to do after though.

I'm also quite frugal, though. And I'd advise you to not feel the necessity of spending a lot of money to impress this girl on dates just because she's a couple of years older than you. People are people no matter what and if you can't enjoy each others' company when you're just lounging around doing nothing there's probably no point in seriously pursuing that...

i feel you on that. i'm actually "seeing" this older chick these days (I'm in my late 20s, she's in her early 30s). I treat her like a fellow human being and that's it. They're all different but at the same time they're all the same. Once you start thinking "what can i do for this chick to like me/be impressed/think i'm mature, you already lost. Just do what you feel, take the lead and let her decide what she wants to do.
