A little less than a year, about 11 months. We're long distance for the summer and she's been going out with coworkers a lot recently. She moves down here for a new job in a couple weeks so we will see what happens. I'm going to make sure I keep my dignity intact no matter what happens.

Just mentally prepare yourself bro. A co-worker of mines is from D.C. and lives up here now, but her bf still lives in DC. She told me straight up how attracted she was towards me but we couldn't do anything. I have a chik so i'm not trying to cheat, so i just shrug it off. But this chik told me if i'm ever in her area I can feel free crash by her. She has a studio apt. She's always asking what I'm doing after work also. Yeah- she's cute but I'm not trying to take it there.

Just sharing my experience here.

I got married to a decent guy last June even though I wasn't really in love with him. I wanted security and stability.

Well I left him almost 3 months ago and now I don't have security or stability. I was working 2 jobs and doing a musical. Then I hurt my back and now I'm unable to work and I had to drop out of the show.

I live with a new boyfriend. He has some financial struggles but I'm in love with him. He's the antithesis of my ex.

I know this is sort of skeletal but here it is. Hope some of you can relate.

That's what pissed me off. I brought it up and let her know that relationships don't work like that, and I told her that I know she'd be upset if the roles were reversed. She apologized and everything but you know how that goes. At least my eyes are open to things like this.

You're right, and I'm not going to ignore the signs. I am too old for that. But I don't like to make rash decisions so I'm gonna give it 3 weeks, focus on my own goals, and re-evaluate things. If she ends up breaking it off with me before that then so be it.

Since my ex lives in my house now, she's actually pretty handy. She fills my tank up, cooks food for me, runs errands for me and shyt. Heck the other night she accompanied me to watch a movie in my room. Our relationship was like 5 years ago and it was really short lived(About 4 months). Yea she cheated on me from what I heard but I'm way over that to the point where I don't even care no more. She's renting a room in my house downstairs from my moms so I see her a lot now. I'm not even mad anymore if I tried.

She said to me "I love you." the other day while I was in front of the house chilling on the porch. I just kept my convo going on about some other shyt I didn't even respond to that shyt.
