But the text shyt is throwing me off because it's a lot more awkward. I make it a point not to talk to her every day. There's no need right now at all. I don't usually initiate a text convo. But when we do text it'll be going well like we do in person but then the conversation ends abruptly usually with her just randomly ending it by not replying to the last thing I said. So I'm like "okay well I'm not going to try to keep it going" and I'll go silent for a couple days. Then she will hit me up with that "I miss you" or wanna see me shyt out of the blue and so when we see each other again it's good.

I dealt with a girl who did the same thing, would just abruptly stop replying, than she will respond days later on some "hey how's it going", completely just disregarded the conversation we were having Lol. You gotta just ice them girls and keep it short. They are using you for their entertainment at the moment.

To me, texting is just like a never-ending convo....so no need to say "Bye" or "I'll talk to you later" like you would on the phone or in person.

Unless you're asking her a question via text & she's not responding, then it doesn't sound too bad.

But only you know for sure...

But one thing that does annoy me is when we're talking about something during the day time, then they go cold for the rest of the day/night.

Those chicks are indeed just using you to help get thru their work day. But typically, those are also the ones who don't wanna hang out much or always have an excuse as to why they can't.

dude let ur texts be more about "when are u coming over" "what are u doing now?" "i'm coming over". save all that lengthy texting to chicks u've already got wrapped around ur finger. how do u know if a chick is wrapped around ur finger? when she lets a lot of sh1t slide or when she gets terrified at the idea of offending u. apologizes quickly. too much texting aint good man.

I see your point there man I just hate texting period these days. I think it's a terrible form of communication. How many times have I had to tell a girl "that's not what I meant" because she didn't understand the text

I agree with @TRUEST and @Atlrocafella too. I can't be letting her dictate where these conversations go and seeing as I hate texting I need to keep shyt short and to the point.

I'm not quite ready to end this yet because we do get along well when we are together but my guard is way up after what happened with my last ex.

I'm talking about the ones who will put good guys on ice in favor for a new man of the moment, or a man they can "change"..... then it fails and they realize they lost the good guy. Then instead of looking in the mirror and taking ownership of their actions, they get on social media saying stuff like, 'when god takes ppl out of ur life it's so he can send you new ones'
