you're right. on everything. i'm still missing her, second guessing shyt like what if I had visited more or stayed up later to talk one more time, shyt like that.. but it doesn't matter.I do think some of the best relationships start from "friendship" but that's when it's a two way street. Ala meeting in a church group, school or whatever and the bond grows and you both have the same feelings
However once you've let your feelings been known and its unrequited then it's bushes.

It didn't matter what you did, women like these are basically tethered to their exes its a losing battle, without therapy or personal growth it will always be a sideshow of going back to their exes. That emotional high and drug of drama is like a cocaine addict.
That's the best thing moving on and living your life, PUT YOURSELF FIRST be selifsh, who cares what she wants she's doing what she thinks is best for her so now do what is best for you.
Maybe one day your paths will cross again, maye one day you can even be friends again but today aint that day, more than likely by the time you get to the point where you reach indifference and the feelings are killed you probably won't even want to be friends anymore.
And it's normal even teh strongest and wisest can't turn their emotions off and on like a light switch, the heart is not eeyore's tail where you can detach and reattach and everything is brand new.

. Women fall often, men fall hard. I've had like 11 women in my life who are not blood utter they love me and/or care about me greatly bla bla, you want to know where are those women now? I have no idea but prob gargling some dudes cum somewhere. I'm not saying they didn't care or didn't mean what they said but not enough and not for very long, it was fleeting like many things in life.
Some people have more patience, trust and hope in others than other individuals, believing people can and will change. I tend to judge people by what they do, not what they say.
Relationships and love should be enriching and blissful not full of discord and drama.
Remember if she felt as strongly about you as you did her she'd be there right there with you, you'd be her number 1. Hell I know a woman who met a guy in jamaica on vacation at the resort and fell in love and jetted back to canada and to jamaica like 5 times in a year, got knocked up got married and moved down there, and she had options, and she had exes she could have ran back to, she could have cheated but she didn't. She knew what she wanted she knew what she felt and in the end shes down there married with a kid. If someone truly loves you, you will know it and see it by the actions.
It's true that you can't 'negotiate desire', and when the feeling is gone, the woman will pretty much treat you like you're worthless.
As I get older, I realize how so much of it is ultimately a game. I think what sucks about modern dating is that if you want a woman to stick around, you pretty much have to give them the emotional rollercoaster. Look at the Ray Rice situation. Guy knocked his wife out and she's still with him. On the other hand, you have some hard-working 'square' guy who is doing all he can for his wife and family and she's bored and decides to jet. To me it seems like the only way to keep most women around is to put them on an emotional carousel, which I personally find not worth it. It's exhausting and I'm not going to add stress that was nonexistent prior to her arrival to my life in my life to keep her entertained.
Obviously, a lot of guys are fabricating what they make. You look on any board except this one in regards to the IT sector/tech and many are complaining about how turbulent it is and how workers are getting replaced with H1-B visa holders or outsourced. If you're a top tier worker, then you may be making something solid, but it's pure fantasy that most people are making six figures like that. A few may be, but the majority aren't.

or because im not falling into her trap of wanting confrontation or a big hoopla fight, she loses respect for me.
At my work the it department was basically slashed by 80%, now folks in india handle it, with a few in house contractors none full time.
And it's only going to get worse, it's just like most jobs out ther enow that can be outsourced, a dude in india, china and now mexico can do the same thing for basically nothing.
Even banks that used to pay like 15-20 a hour for call center positions now have those same positions in india or mexico paying like 3 people that 20 that they used to pay 1,

Being perfectly honest, to me it seems like dealing with a lot of these westernized women is backwards. If you're not engaging in a pattern of behavior that might possibly end you in jail, they get bored and ready to explore other territory.
What irks me is how many women simply engage in utterly disrespectful behavior to 'test you', and if you don't pass these little tests in their eyes, you are weak. I'd rather simply cut them off. You come around ignoring my calls or making slick comments, I'm not going to argue with you. I'm going to eventually cut you off. What bothers me is why can't these women come with the mindset of making me happy instead of the mindset of seeing what they can get away with? It's like you're the coach of a football team and the players who join the team are players who see how many practices they can skip and how many plays off they can take before someone gets on them. Who wants to be surrounded by that?
To me, it's not even about 'nice guys' anymore. If you're a stable dude who wants to minimize drama and just enjoy life, that's 'too boring'. You almost have to be bipolar or somewhat of a sociopath to keep a lot of these women entertained enough to stick around. Even Chris Brown and 2pac talked about getting hit with that 'but you're too nice' rhetoric. It's like the only thing these women care about is their emotional rollercoaster.
That's why I get on negroes talking that nonsense about throwing their woman away because she isn't the best in bed, but she's perfect everywhere else. Watch what happens as soon as she leaves and you can't find a woman that wants to be around for you just being you.
You be on some shyt sometimes, but you be on point with the how to get pass an ex talk. I think I've mentioned before, but you're a good writer. Very vivid.
That's why they have these 'everybody needs to be a coder' commercials floating everywhere and why companies are begging for h1b1 visas. They are trying to lower the wages in one of the last lucrative professions. The economy is very turbulent, which is why I will tell anyone, you better get your entrepreneurial chops up and you better be smart and not listen to the advice of the baby boomers who will lead you down the path to financial ruin.
If you can stay at home or get a roommate to save a bunch of money, DO THAT and then use the proceeds to invest in yourself. Buying all these gizmos and making moves to show others how much you're shining or how independent you are despite the fact that it's putting you in debt is nonsense.
