Rather, the goal should be to DETACH your emotional state from a woman, meaning that you don't require a woman to be happy. If some particular woman flakes on you, your day isn't ruined because you can simply resume that day with some activity that you enjoy. The goal isn't to teach you how to treat women like they are trash and they are worthless. Rather, it is to teach you to only allow women who have self-respect and who also value you into your presence so that they can't wreak havoc on your life.

I think we need to find some more decent examples of women, like how Tia Mowry got at her husband and stood by him even when he wasn't famous... or look at the attitude of Reginald Lewis's wife Loida Lewis.

I took a dream job in Geneva after law school and my best friend since JR high came through to visit me. Her and I have only been good friends, never really was attracted to her like that, but she came to see me over Thanksgiving because she hadn't seen me in a while. We took a trip to Paris, paid for it half and half, and ended up fukking for the first time. Fell in love with her after about a month. I know her family -- from her racist cuban grandma who used to make me soup in NYC even though I'm the darkest nikka on earth, to her baby ister I watched grow up. She knows all mine too.

Anyway, she goes back home and I stay in Geneva and she starts to act distant.. she stops talking to me around Valentines after taking a flight to puerto rico to see some friends.. a few days pas and I haven't heard from her so I reach out to her sister, and then the girl finally gets back in touch and breaks up with me because the distance was too much, we were moving too fast, and later ont ells me she's getting back with the nikka she dated for 10 years who cheated on her for eight of them, denied her existence to his homeboys and homegirls, and talked shyt to her for years.. I met the nikka once when I visited her in Puerto Rico, while we were still friends, and he was highkey suspicious we were fukking.. but we were just good friends.

Anyway, I fukked up after she told me.. I hit her with the 'baby baby baby please just talk to me' at first, which she ignored for a few days.. then i said i still cared and loved her and didn't want to throw away 16 years of friendship.. and she says she doesn't either, but thinks it's best that we have some time a part and not talk to one another.
