My cousin says his philisophy is he's gonna wait til the 1st round of divorces amongst ppl our age. LOL

Then he's gonna snag him a woman who's been divorced. I guess he feels they'll be more inclined to know what it takes to NOT make a relationship work so it'll work in the long run. And also maybe they'll be more apt to appreciate a good guy.

That's a terrible move, people who divorce are more likely to divorce again, it becomes "easier" to them.

Well I understand his logic tho.

And I think he's thinking moreso along the lines of someone who REALLY wants to be married. These type of people might be more apt to appreciate a good person if their ex-spouse was terrible.

Nah, I'd stay far away from that, he's your blood tell him to cancel that mission asap. The divorce rate is 67% for second marriages, and you have to remember women are the ones that typically file for divorce. Any small problem with a bytch that has been divorced will have him thinking "When them papers coming", there's just a level of paranoia there.

id never marry a divorce woman NEVER, you have to remember she chose her ex spouse, PPL RARELY CHANGE, if he was a horrible spouse he was a horrible bf as well but she still married him. its just liek you always hear those sob stories oh my husband hit me or cheated on me then oh yeah it wasnt the first time he cheated on me or hit me when we were dating he did it but i gave him another chance.

i keep telling folks time and time again women especially dont appreaciate a good person, you can save a chick froma abusive relationship, marry a divorced woman with 2 kids who was cheated on repeatedly, and when she gets "bored, stressed" se will still step out on you or drop them papers, women are not loyal no matter what dire situations you may save them from.

Fact is, if she can't cook, what the hell is ur kid gonna eat? He gonna eat McDonalds everyday....TV dinners...junk food? Is SHE gonna eat McDonalds everyday herself, get fat? Who's gonna wash ur kids clothes? Who's gonna clean up after him? Whos gonna fulfill the role of being his "mama"?

Me personally I figured out my "problem". I just don't believe in the system anymore. That system that says you meet a good girl you like and do right by her and she'll do right by you. You marry her and keep her happy and yall will be together for the rest of your life.

the problem with the system is there are people playing it that figured it out. They're playing to further their own selfish agenda. They're faking it so they can use honest players for their own selfish gain.

relationships and marriage are all a crap shoot. There's really nothing you can do to make them succeed because you can do everything right and have it fail on account of the other person. No cautionary actions or prep work can save you from that. People change, time changes them. Life changes people. Most of these changes aren't deliberate either. In 5 years the happy relationship with the love of your life can morph into something completely different.

when you no longer believe in the system it robs you of hope. You start to look at this thing like its the lotto. Like it takes being in the right place in the right time with a whole lot of luck to win and not hard work and effort. A lot of people play and a few win those of which may or may not deserve to win.

this is one area in life where good people are not necessarily rewarded and are in fact typically punished for their actions.
