Depends where you live. Where I live there is a huge turnover of very attractive single women on these apps. Who are up for meeting withing a day.

I mainly use them to match with women who I wouldn't really come across in my day to day. See it as another branch of your dating pool.

I try to get them off Bumble and Tinder asap.

I'd say yes and no. I guess its a good way to be seen as you can put a little what your about. And see what chicks on campus are saying. Or use it to peep any chicks you're interested in. Before you do an in person approach

Yep. That's what I'm thinking as well. Met ole' girl over the summer. Went out for drinks and we hit it off well. Chilled at my place, talked and drank some wine.

Was talking to her one night and made a joke that she didn't take to lightly. Got angry and said she wasn't gonna do this. I tried to put things in context but she wasn't really having it. After an attempt to remedy it and she not being available I just cut if off.

Now she hits me back on some "Hey, how've you been".

We traded some generic text but later I said I'll call her tonight

Idk how to approach this. I haven't hit so there's that but at the same time, if she wanted to go then she can go. Idk man

Long story short she told about some experimentation that she did in the past (college) but I mistook it as something recent (past year of so). I asked to call up her friend and let's get it done.

She was like "nah, that was in college like 5 years ago, so you thought I was out there like that. I don't like when people make assumptions of me" etc.

I told her I was joking but she wasn't hearing it. She said let's end the talk.

I tried to call her a few days after to smooth things over but she never replied my call. Tried to call again after that but no bueono. After that I cut my losses short and moved on

I'll call her tonight and gauge where her heads at but tbh, idk. Dating women is an expense and I already have a big trip to Nigeria in like 10 weeks.

A few drinks here and there, a couple nights out on town etc can easily add up to like $300-400.

$400 would do me so well in Lagos

It's crazy cuz ole girl got like 5 years on me. I thought she would have been open to having convo about it.

I feel you about having some options for winter. However, even building those options is some bread. Right now I'm in the interview process for a new job. If that clicks before November then I could possible entertain getting back out there, but even still. I'd rather ball out for 2 weeks in Nigeria.
