Here's a Quick Gem for the older Brehs (late 20's to mid 30s) who are thinking of settling down but unsure if their woman actually likes em for them or has placed them in the provider role.
1. Ask yourself and identify what your qualties are that attract women and why you got this particular chick sticking with you. Be honest with your analysis. Is she with you for your personality/looks or for your potential/money etc?
2. Next ask yourself, in her prime (18-27... age where girls get the most attention and offer from a plethora of different types of men) would she date me? Be truthful with yourself. If you can't see her dating you in her prime then somethings wrong.
3. Lastly, look at who her past boyfriends were when she was with in her prime or when she had no baggage. If they don't resemble or aren't similar to you in character then shes looking at the bigger picture for herself and settling for you.
I've seen this situation play out many times. A woman only messes with certain type of men in her prime years (lets say she likes to date free-spirited spontaneous musicians) only to do a 180 and switch it up to settling down with the oppposite (A rigid by the books boring accountant).... only to later cheat/divorce him as she desires to go back to what she was originally attracted to.

Yeah, this most recent ex is at law school, Arizona State. But she was the most difficult person I've ever engaged with. I never stressed so much in the months that we dated. It was living hell.

Girlfriend of five years prior was a paralegal and started law school the fall that we broke up. This was back in 2017.
