Yeah its like you telling a chick “lets hang sunday im gonna be busy sat” when you know sat you going out with another chick lol. We are human at the end of the day so you actually care about your FWB no matter what you say, but balancing FWB and playing boyfriend is a complex act, and in reality she could be out on a date with a dude who sees her as a wife while for you she just on the roster so you cant be mad she seeking security and you shouldnt be investing so much where its an issue of she bounces.

Exactly. Here's the thing about phone calls unless they are spontaneous during a time when you aren't busy, you end up planning time around them. So then if she don't have time now you've wasted a block of time and need to figure out how to fill it. You end up unsatisfied cuz you started thinking of all the other shyt you could've planned in the meantime. Some dudes stay up 30 minutes later to talk on the phone. She cant talk? Now you fukked up yo sleep. During your game playing time? Damn now you missed out on you time. I've stopped doing that planned calls shyt and only call if I find I truly dont have shyt to do like driving or waiting for something. Brehs be giving their time to chicks who haven't earned it. Then be mad when the woman prioritizes her time for something else over you

My philosophy on the FWB term has been for a while now that people like to use that term as a euphemism to hide behind because of their individual fear of acknowledging that they do have feelings for the other party. Instead of recognizing that and being honest with themselves they will spew out "we're just FWB, no biggie, I don't care. " But their words belie their actions..... unless you are a legitimate prostitue fukking for profits, there is zero explanation for giving an initmate part of yourself to another person unless you have some sort of feelings for them. From instinctual lust to deeper love, they might be of different magnitudes, but still revolve around romantic feelings........... not sure why I wrote this out cause you probably see it in this sort of realm based on your comment about balancing boyfriend and fwb
Yeah hinestly i stopped that phone pillow talking stuff in college. I only text as it allows me to keep contact but at my time, i dint even like voice notes because i need to stop what im doing to listen then respond lol.

I never knew "planning phone calls" was even a thing. Like we are setting up a meeting in the office. I have always treated it as in the moment, I call.... you answer and available, then we talk. But mostly phone calls are for date planning.
FWB for men tend to be you cool and attractive but i do not want the emotional burden or responsibility of a relationship. Could be because life is busy but you still want human contact of the opposite sex occasionally or you just not built for relationships, but dudes who act like they dont care about their FWB tripping lol a one night stand is most def what yoh do after our event is whatever, but most dudes who value themselves are not trying to KNOWINGLY be smashing behind someone else at the same time
