Sex is a topic on a forum where the jokes write themselves, but I have had some thoughts lately. Sex requires so much vulnerability that I don't think people are as comfortable having it, as they were even 15 years ago. Then there's the cultural influences.

I'd say that real sex/good sex requires vulnerability, but the trend towards IG Baddies/Soft Prostitution and those who aspire to do so - has literally turned sex into work, i.e. sex work.

You brought up the music, which has been on my mind lately. Growing up in the 90;s, and being raised on rap and R&B, everyone has their own era, but Jagged Edge, R. Kelly, Brian Mcknight, 112, Dru Hill, Jodeci, Donnell Jones, Keith Sweat, all that. The music was drenched in romance, sex, lust. That's what I still play. That's how I still feel. There was some heartbreak. There wasn't a lot of cynicism. There wasn't a lot of malaise. The women weren't blatantly disrespected...

There wasn't so much anger, or resentment. I don't listen to a lot of current R&B, but even the 2015 era, had some R&B influences. Now a lot of it is like Tik Tok gender war stuff over a beat. I was thinking too about Lil' KIm and Foxy. How they were different from Cardi B? Were they different? That mentality is what's hot now, and people are influenced whether they know it or not.

But if I shared their IG, everyone would think they were extremely sexually active, like this dude is saying. I was talking to a shorty tonight and was telling her about how unbeknownst to a lot of women, alot of millenial men were raised on simp disney movies and r&b records. So im basically walking on eggshells throughout the relationship humiliation ritual with someone whos carrying several bodies, and hasnt any additional value outside of her "looks".

i mean Kentucky is granting equal custody and their seeing 25% reduction in divorces. Maybe other states will follow suit.

My ex was the same way. But I think that in and of itself is a red flag. In my case she wasnt disillusioned or once we moved in she maintained all that love but she started showing more of herself and switching up aspects of her life. Deadass would've been my wife but she pushed me away and went down a different path I didn't wanna follow. You know it's interesting because situations like that feel like mini divorces. Crazy being back in the streets but haven't come across anybody who'd make me change my mind about being single yet let alone "wifey material"
But looking back it wasnt like the options were amazing before because it took time before I found my ex too and she wasn't perfect. Dating like anything else in life requires us to fail a fukk ton in order to succeed. It's just unfortunate these chicks keep having kids in the meantime. This is the interesting thing to me. I see that too. Rather than make this about me obsessing over a declined invite, it's just become part of everyone's interactions with each other. I hear so much of these from women, even very sensible ones, one way or another, and I'm just always thinking they all miss the forrest for the trees. Enjoy your life. Go on a date. some decent ones out here when you hit 30 but you gotta go through a lot of hell and rejection to get em.

I've been seeing like 3 chicks the last few months. Each is attractive to me, in their own way funny enough. All three are mostly in their natural hair. All three have solid jobs. None are overweight. They may have 1 or 2 small, hidden tattoos at most. No crazy piercings, 2 parent households. No kids. And at least for now i feel like i can be myself around em.

Took me two years to get to this point lol. A lot of disappointment and rejection in those two years...and running through random hoes too. Prolly smashed like 15-20 women in that time period.

you have to be somebody who has a lot of money to throw away...enough where you can have your own section, let them come into it, and buy enough bottles/hookah for them and your homies all to indulge. thats how it is now. its a very different climate. but the women are usually gonna be women you and your friends invited.

the days of just posting up with a few friends and choppin shorties are mostly over unless you go to certain parties/club events. when i went to jerk and jollof women would touch you as you walked by or eye fukked you and it was then up to you to holla. but they usually werent the shorties you were feelin or they were from OT. the ones you really wanted were in sections with their peoples all night or with scammers, drug dealers and shyt
