And this is why I write.........I love my life and one thing I am keen on is looking back and seeing the evolution of a somewhat spineless schmuck to a man of insight.
I once allowed emotions to override logic and gave a bit of leeway when it should have been no way.
I once sacrificed my time, happiness, even sometimes morphed into a different character and for what? An opportunity with a beautiful woman who has oodles yes oodles of men circumnavigating around her?
The chance to maybe share her podium with the silver and bronze medalist after completing her race that had tons of different heats with competitors.
Thanks but no Thanks........as I got older and experienced a hoopla of face palm and shaking my head in disgust type moments, those days are buried in a undisclosed location and long gone. I do not care to be someone I’m not, I do not have SAG credentials so I am not interested in taking up acting, and I refuse to play the emotional harp to keep someone interested.
I would to be more precise rather spend my schedule and dynamism on hobbies, goals, family and special people in my life who yield a decisive clear gain for my precious time.
