One of the most arduous things in life to achieve is true forgiveness towards an individual who has prepared, marinated on and completed heinous acts against you. I would open up the bible and read verses on forgiveness, come across laughable tumblr postings on the subject and somewhat view it as a preposterous act. What I’ve learned……
1. Forgiveness is for yourself not the other person
Yep the old cliché saying rings true. For the reason that in all probability you will never receive an act of contrition from the perpetrator of the deed. While you stay mingling in misery and soaking in the sentiments of detestation and revulsion, in all likelihood they are out there living their life without a thought of you on their mind. When you truly forgive the weight is removed, life blossoms, the final emotional ties are disengaged and the peace that will overshadow your life is so amazing.
2. You do not have to maintain a connection with the individual who architected the Act.
You can forgive and forget and even turn the other cheek, and you can also dust your sandals off and head to a different town. I will truly forgive for my sake, and maybe even forget the odious incidents committed against me, but the consequence is no more association.
Coming to the realization that without forgiveness you will be living a life of constant animosity and bitterness constantly stuck in the quicksand of spite and malevolence, and trust me it is not hospitable place to be that’s for sure. I am ecstatic in life that I am at peace with no hatred or ill feelings towards anyone. Life should be joyful and peaceful with seamless delightful moments and that is the life I try to lead now.

Look we have all been there giving leeway to women ignoring advice, but but she's different, my friend did, she's got a good head bla bla , I take the stare decisis root in law judges follow past judges decisions on how they come to their ruling and sentence.
As a man you can think you know better, that it's special and all that when its not and end up in a world of pain when that emotional bond is fastened and secured tight then severed right under you.
Or you can follow the advice , the precedant, the stare decisis from others who have been in your situation and are telling you don't do it.
