I was speaking to my dad about dating and women the other day and I was left sort of stunned after hearing his view on women. I don't know if it's just the perspective from his generation but he pretty much said that women will always eventually one-up/manipulate you if stay around them long enough because of sex. I was trying to tell him that only happens if you're not introspective enough and not regularly checking yourself within your situation whilst analysing a woman's behaviour.

He said my PoV is ultimately gonna hold me back from being able to access as many women I could because I don't look at things like time and money as transient. I kept stressing to him that it's quality over quantity but he wasn't having it. It left me really flustered because I was thinking "Damn, my dad was really out here simping chicks and putting up with their BS before he met my mum."

It was only until after when I was speaking with my mum about it that it clicked in my head that my dad wasn't expecting hai first child at 19 with a crazy, manipulative baby mama so he sees my at 21 with a good job and no baggage at he expects me to be out here eating. Only thing is that he's been married for the last 23 years and doesn't understand how the women of today and the dynamics of dating are.

He looked at me and said I won't meet the right girl with that state of mind but I just lost the will to argue back at that point

I really don't get it. I'm not even a cheap guy when it comes to spending money on the right girl but he outright told me that I need to look at my money as transient when I'm dating. That's just asking for a chick to use you for free meals and I can't co-sign that at all. I'm trying to have a girl be with me for me and not because she knows that I won't hesitate to spend money on her.

I tried long distance before, it sucked. It was all ok tho while I thought she ain't gonna move to another state after graduating. But then after we ended it, she tells me:"wow I always thought this ain't gonna work anywayz" and I'm like "bytch why u ain't tell me this earlier, I coulda been nailing different bytches all these 7 months I been loyal all this time
