Also, I've learned to be somewhat leery when women OPENLY tell you nearly right off the bat that ur too good to be true or ur sooo different from every other guy. This shows how much, how quickly their emotions swing to each end of the spectrum. If they swing that quickly one way, in your favor....then can swing just the opposite way out of ur favor if she meets someone else, or for other reasons.

Thanks for the advice fellas. One big thing i failed to mention is that 2 days after i met her brother i told her i wanted to talk about "us".. I got caught up in the moment and told her i didn't want to be single anymore. Keep in mind this is about a month after we started talking. That's when she hit me with the whole she's not ready to get serious talk. After i hit her with the "i wish you the best of luck", she said this diesn't mean i want to stop talking to you. So a part of me thinks i scared her away with the whole "us" talk so early.

Drop it all together and move forward with other potentials. At this point she is either playing games or not real mature. She knew she had all of that on her plate before y'all got started, her mother did as well. You might get some blow back from the mom but stay strong on the fact that her daughter basically told you to fall back.

No need to deal with that madness period, especially from a 24 year old

Moms are smarter than their daughters, she realizes her daughter wih a child most decent suitors won't be looking her way, she will still find guys to lay with her, but a stable good relationship with a decent guy is hard to come by. And this is where you come in but her daughter is to dumb not to see it and she doesn't feel anything for mr nice guy.

I'm saying this because I lived your story breh, except the girl was in a abusive relationship, only dated "jerks" in the past and her mom loved me.

She was with her boyfriend for FIVE years and supposedly he treated her like trash the whole time. these guys are usually nice and dependable, the women usually date jerks and a$$holes. the women are somewhat masochistic and they're only gonna feel attracted to those jerks and a$$holes.

when a woman meets a fall back guy she knows what she's found. she knows he's the husband materiel guy, the father material guy, he's dependable, he predictable, he may or may not even be a lil boring to her because he's so solid.

the fall back guy is the sort of guy that if she skipped town and she failed to establish herself and had to move back that's the first person's door she's gonna show up at. the kinda guy that when the a$$hole boyfriend dogs her out she's crying on that guy's shoulder.

it ties into this concept that people call the friend zone. woman meets guy and isn't attracted or loses attraction to him but sees his value and keeps him around for support.

there's a lot of fall back guys that think they're boyfriends. i used to be one of them myself. thing is some woman will try to force a relationship with a fall back guy just to keep him. a relationship with no emotional attraction, no pull from him to her is a result. obviously she's gonna cheat and the relationship will fall apart. the question is how long will it take?

I see nothing wrong with what you did a month is a decent enough time to drop that question, again If she was attracted to you and wanted to be wih you she would have said yes instead of all these excuses.

You hve no reason to continue talking to her, this is what all women want, don't want to date you but you should accept their "friendship"

Basically like working for two weeks not getting paid asking your boss and he's like I really like you but I'm not going to pay you and your like Allright I wish you the best of luck and he's like wait I still want you to Continje working here but I can't pay you.
You want money but the boss can't offer that.

You want a relationship she can't offer that why waste your time? All your going to do is picking up on signs that don't exist holding out for hope that she will see you as a good guy to date in her life that will never come.
