How long were you together?

Hate to break it to you, there is no such thing as the one. Everything you listed is just excuses, because there is no perfect relationship out there and you can date someone who shares your marriage views and is the same racial backgrounds but have so many other issues.


Anyways all I can say is cease all contact the worst thing you can do is stay in contact with her and give her any semblance of hope.

We've been together a few months.

I'm not looking for the "one", but the things I listed are not excuses, they are the reasons I'm breaking up. I'm honest with myself. Some people ara able to go beyond those things, I can't. I don't want to resent her in the future.

I really lover her. But I asked myself if I was ready to marry her : the answer was no. Marrying her will lead to me a life I don't want to have; that's the problem with marriage: its implications goes beyond the two lovers. For instance, I don't think I will be able to go back living in my country if i stay with her.

But thanks for the advice. I'll try to cease all contact with her.

And my bad breh should have worded it better.

The best thing I can say again is cease all contact, try and go out wallowing inside will just eat you up, put away photos etc. Remove her from social media.


Don't check on how she's doing don't fish for ant information.

You mentioned you were friends before so maybe one day you can again.

Just chalk it up as a experience and at least now you know exactly what you want.

It'll fade, I had a broken engagement just two months ago and I'm fine, yeah it hurts early on but just gotta push forward don't look back stay busy and every day gets much easier then you'll reach a point when your fine again

im trying to go to Cuba this january but i read that you cant go just as a tourist , how were you able to get in? on the traveling website, it says you have to fall under one of 12 groups.
