Have been slowly pushing more calls, and less/no texts at all, which isn't easy, and seems, and probably is counter intuitive, because you are going against what we now consider established social norms,
but more and more, texting just exhausts me, it's like these little shallow drips of dopamine, sometimes its highly effective and easy way too communicate, but too often it's just tiresome and not satisfying. We have all collectively put too much on it, and now it's like you feel totally disconnected from someone if you aren't in constant digital contact.
At least with a phone call, it's a bigger/more risky bet, but it will get it all done quickly, and more effectively, and both people will probably feel better. Starting to feel like a p*ssy texting, is the truth LOL sometimes.

So i was training this new employee last month and she just told me she was transferring to another location.
She tells me I'm the coolest person she's met so far and ask for my number.
So we get the texting.
She's Mexican and I'm telling her
"I bet you be at the Mexican dances with a Corona in your hand and some dude with some fly ass alligator boots".
She tells me "naw I don't like paisas, I like my men dark like chocolate and coffee"
Now she came off super Mexican. Like Mexican that don't mess with black dudes. I'm feeling like this is all signs for me to pursue but idk. She doesn't work with me anymore so if it does go south I don't have to see her at work.
