Am I overreacting? So I was on a date last night with a girl.

I got offended when she decided to tie the bag I had put the take out food in for me. ( I was busy chatting with her so I had forgotten to fassen the bag)

Anyway I laughed it off but it felt kind of humiliating as a guy

That's why she also was kind of embarrassed that she tied the bag for me. (I joked about her already falling for me on the first date)

I'm more annoyed at her sassy comment tbh. Like she really doing something for you, even if she said it in jest. Moreover, the implication that she is a princess...

But yeah, i see where you are coming from, but you're tripping. Tying the bag was not impinging on your manhood.

Things like fixing your collar, correcting your grammar, stealing food off your plate, to me that type of "help" is more troubling

Walk into a grocery store. Younger chick, late teens maybe is sitting on her phone. Young breh around the same age walks up and says something to the effect of “Excuse me but you are so bad” he says it all in one motion and just walks away. She hardly looked up from her phone but said thanks.

and ironically, tying the bag is what a real, wholesome woman would do. nothing to be humiliated by as the man in the situation but i would think the chick was a cornball
