This bad boy vs school boy narrative has to be pushed by people that don't have anyone locked up.
Most of them REAL BAD BOYS, don't have broads coming for visits, letters, phone calls....A few do, 99% don't. And even that 1%, the visits fall off after a while.

If you are asking someone out, you should have a plan. So, no one should be asking "what do you have in mind?", because you will have led with that, always say just start strong. Should be an already agreed on interest, oh you like _______? Let's try this place. But, I guess a lot of those interactiosn are taking place digitally. "What do you have in mind" is like a qualifier, to see what you got.
Doing a omakase dinner at a resort in Laguna Beach, it's like a $300 dinner, pre paid, thought about trying to invite someone, but too many variables.

well this is the dilemma, that's not how I think because while I am fine going alone, it could an ever more memorable time with someone, so the idea of "earning" is like counter productive for me
I throw out like one night offers, often to more than one person. I got you one the dinner, whatever happens, no expectations, just show up and have fun, would rather get someone who is financially up and likes those kinds of things, and cover like 1/2 of hers than the whole tab, but that's a narrow demo.
when it's pre paid in Laguna Beach which like an hour from me, too many variables. I pay and someone cancels, hard to get a last minute replacement. That's my dilemma.
