My boy and I were talking just this week about how much prostitution has become a part of modern life/dating for men and women. I'm 39, grew up in San Diego, right across from Tijuana, so I went to my first strip club when I was 14 years old. I saw this up close and personal as a minor, but back then, it wasn't something that was like celebrated. We kept it on the low. We didn't tell everyone, def. not the women in our social circles. He said the world revolves around prostitutes now.
Now, from a male perspective, it's like half the guys I know are tricks, and it's openly embraced. It's wild. Guys who are in no way socially impaired or deficient, their whole thing is paying for sex. And it's the younger generation too. Like early 20's, these kids are going down to Hong Kong (infamous spot in TJ) and that's the beginning and end of their relationship with women and sex.
